Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club welcomes visitors and locals to its beautifully maintained grass courts in picturesque surrounds looking over to Wombat Hill. Young or old, beginner or advanced, social or competitive, we will help you find the right way to enjoy this fantastic game. While our courts are owned by our club, not the local shire, visitors are very welcome and encouraged to play. Simply pay for court hire ($20/hr per court in the honesty box at the gate) or better still become a member! Membership will cost you the princely sum of $120/yr, even better value when your ball money for club competitions is included. See Member Information. The courts are open October to April conditions permitting.

.....and that's a wrap for the DLTC 25/26 Tennis Season. We had great fun and some really good competition this year amongst our members, guests and visitors. Thanks to our Committee, Members, Volunteers and Sponsors. The Asphalt courts will remain playable over the winter months at no charge. See you all again @ Oct/Nov when the 26/27 Season gets going.

Exciting news at Daylesford Tennis. There is now a new Pickleball Court Available!
Are you ready to join one of the fastest growing sports in the world?
We are excited to announce that the Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club now has a brand new pickleball court available for bookings. It's free for current tennis club members, and $20 to book the whole court for non-members. You can also pay $60 to join as a pickleball member, which would give you unlimited access until October 2026 (a 6 month pickleball membership).
You will need your own paddles and balls to play, but you can find fairly inexpensive options online if you'd like to try it out first before getting more serious about it.
The new pickleball court is located on the asphalt, north of the lawn tennis courts. Come and try it out, it's great fun, and an easy sport to learn. Here's a short video explaining how to play: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rD1O3R9B0Sw

A fantastic weekend for our Juniors and Seniors Club Championships. Today over 25 senior players participated in the Open Singles and Doubles events. Congratulations to Simon Peck and Sophie Hynes for taking out the singles events and same to Michael and Susie Stagg for winning the doubles. A special mention also goes to the singles runners up in Ben Sims and Ros Roberts and the doubles runner up champs this year are Gary Thomas and Tom Gillett. Thank you to all our club volunteer helpers, our magnificent sponsors and Daylesford District Community Bank Community Development Fund for a grant to support the juniors and seniors competition. The courts were in great shape this weekend and that's only made possible by the many volunteer hours put in by our dedicated volunteers.
