Dayboro Division 8 has made it through to the semi-final!!
They will be playing against Bribie Island for a spot in the Final.
The venue is Aspley Bowls Club, and the game starts at 9am on Saturday the 12th of September.
Come along and support your team!!!

One out of two ain't bad!
Division Two defeated Pine Rivers B at Pine Pine Rivers today to win their division of the Interclub Challenge!!!! Unfortunately Division Three were defeated by Pine Rivers today. This left both Dayboro and Pine Rivers on 14 points but on count back of margins, Pine Rivers were the winners with a score differential of 93-91.

What a great season for our little club.
A huge thank you to ALL the players who played in either division during the season. Your contributions were enormous and allowed our club the opportunity to be so close to taking out both divisions.

Great wins for both our teams in the Interclub Challenge Competition today.

Division Two defeated Bribie Island 48-32 and Division Three defeated Bribie Island 43-27.

With one round to play both teams are at the top of their respective Divisions.
Div Two is 1 point ahead of Pine Rivers B and Div Three is 2 points ahead of Pine Rivers.

Our final games are against Pine Rivers at Pine Rivers next Thursday at 9am

The AGM for the Ladies Division of the Dayboro Bowls Club was held today. Many thanks to our outgoing President, Lesleigh Nutley. It was a great year for the club and your involvement as our President was much appreciated by all of us.

We now welcome Desley Hanlon as our incoming President for 2026/2027 and look forward to many happy bowling days with you for the next 12 months.

Other committee members for the next year are - Lesley Cawdrey - Senior Vice President, Asst Secretary, Club Delegate and Welfare Officer; Jenny Maher our new Secretary, Asst Treasurer and Proxy Delegate; Dawn Heathwood - Treasurer and Asst Providore; Glenys Leis - Junior Vice President, Games Director and Media liaison Officer; Gillian Jones - Providore and Patroness. Our social games directors are Lyn McKenzie, Ilma McKenzie and Lesleigh Nutley.

Well, the final has been played, with some outstanding bowls on display, but there can only be one winner.

Congratulations to Wendy Wilson on becoming the MBDBA Champion of Champions Winner – a fantastic achievement!

A huge congratulations also to Kristina Heathwood on making it all the way to the final in her very first Champion of Champions campaign. What an incredible effort.

Dayboro is incredibly proud of you, Kristina. You represented the club with skill, determination, and class. Well done! 👏💙🏆
