π Member Spotlight: Sonjaβs Journey π
When Sonya first came to us, osteoarthritis had made everyday movement incredibly difficult. She was struggling to walk, had very limited knee movement with almost no flexion or extension, and needed support and guidance from our trainer, Will, to begin her journey.
Starting with gentle movement to understand just how restricted her mobility was, Sonja also incorporated pool-based exercises, allowing her to move with less pain and build confidence.
Over the next 2β3 months, we saw remarkable progress. Sonja gradually regained movement, started walking more comfortably, and we noticed something just as importantβher confidence and energy returning. π
As her strength and mobility improved, Will introduced squats into her programme. Starting carefully and progressing at the right pace, Sonja is now increasing her squat depth and becoming more active than she has been in a long time.
