Tracy village Rebels is a proud club that was originally formed in 1975 under the name of Northern Districts Rebels. In 1986 the Northern District Rebels created a partnership with Tracy Village Sports and Social Club and became the Tracy Village Rebels Baseball club that we see today. With the Partnership with Tracy Village Sports and Social Club space was given to the Baseball club to build thei
r own purpose built Baseball Diamond. Through the work of many Volunteers they were able to create the first Baseball only field in Darwin. Over the years the field has developed and now has been updated to be able to accommodate National Level competitions. The field now has permanent lighting which allows the club to train at night out of the Northern Territory heat. The field is now the only field that the Darwin Baseball League has to play on and hosts all games on a Friday Night. The club has always been about creating a culture that is about being open and welcoming to all people and a strong culture towards striving for excellence on and off the field that is driven through hard work from the players and volunteers that make up Tracy Village Rebels Baseball Club. This culture has led to many successful seasons on the Baseball Diamond where the Tracy Village Rebels Baseball Club has won 27 League Championships making them the leaders in that category in the entire league. Currently the Tracy Village Rebels Baseball Club is one of four clubs that are left in Darwin Baseball League. Tracy Village Rebels is run by a strong committee of volunteers where their goals is to continue to grow and develop the club for the future.
