Congratulations to all players and competitors for a fantastic weekend of badminton. And a special thank you to our volunteers and officials whose hard work made the event possible.

The wait is almost over! The NT Open 2026 starts tomorrow.

We are looking forward to welcoming players from across the Territory and beyond for what promises to be a fantastic weekend of badminton at the NT Badminton Centre.

Thank you to everyone who has entered, volunteered, officiated, and supported the event. Your contribution helps make the NT Open one of the premier badminton tournaments in the Northern Territory.

To all players, we wish you the very best of luck for the weekend ahead. Play hard, compete with integrity, enjoy the challenge, and make the most of the experience both on and off the court.

Entries close next Monday, 1 June 2026, so do not miss your chance to be part of one of the NT’s premier badminton events.

Please remind your partners to enter too, otherwise you will be listed as “partner required”. No partner? No worries, we will do our best to find you one.

Big news for the 2026 Alice Springs Masters Games !

Two iconic Australian rock acts — Baby Animals Music and Choirboys — will headline the Opening Ceremony! Setting the scene for an unforgettable week 😎

The participant march will kick off at 6pm, followed by live music through to 10pm!

And because one big night isn’t enough, the mid‑week street party is back. The Council Lawns will be buzzing from 5pm, thanks to Alice Springs Town Council, with live entertainment, market stalls and the always‑popular Masters Mile, now open to all ages, alongside the Alice Springs Running & Walking Club.

This is a free, family-friendly event. No tickets required.

What an amazing morning at our Women & Girls Come & Try Badminton session on the 9th of May.

We had many women and girls of all ages out on court enjoying themselves, learning new skills, meeting new people and having a lot of fun in a welcoming and friendly environment.

Due to the great response and strong attendance, an additional session has now been added for 16 May.

There are still FREE sessions remaining:
