IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR MEMBERS AND GUESTS FROM THE COMMITTEE

The committee of the Pint Club Association Incorporation has received advice from its advisors, that the Association should be placed into Voluntary Liquidation. In accepting this advice, this decision has not been made lightly.

The Association was placed into Voluntary Administration in July 2023. It has been operating under a Deed of Association Agreement since October 2023.

Despite the best efforts of many people, the financial performance of the Association has continued to decline. It is now at the point where it is not financially viable to continue trading.

The club will cease trading at close of business on Monday 27 April 2026.

FUN FACT TUESDAY — ANZAC DAY EDITION
Sometimes Australians step up in ways that don’t quite make sense on paper — like volunteering in numbers so high that whole towns suddenly had empty workshops, missing teammates, and quiet pubs. It wasn’t about adventure or glory; it was mates looking out for mates, and communities doing what they felt was right.

Across World War I, Australia recorded one of the highest volunteer enlistment rates of any Allied nation. A total of 416,809 Australians enlisted — all voluntarily — representing around 38.7% of men aged 18–44. Some regions went even further: Western Australia sent 32,231 volunteers, equal to 9.9% of its entire population at the time. These numbers aren’t about celebrating war; they’re about recognising the scale of commitment shown by ordinary people who stepped forward in extraordinarily difficult times.
