Basketball NT is establishing a Constitution Working Group to review and update our governing constitution.
We're inviting expressions of interest from associations, clubs, members and stakeholders who would like to contribute to this important process. This is a genuine opportunity to help shape the future direction and governance of basketball in the Northern Territory.

The Under 12 Futures Academy will be returning in Term 4!

Open to boys and girls born in 2015 and 2016, the academy focuses on developing confidence, improving individual skills, and fostering a love for the game through age-appropriate coaching and activities.

Program Details

📅 Start Date: Friday 16 October (8-week program)

🕞 Time: 3:30pm – 4:45pm

📍 Venue: Darwin Basketball Stadium – Courts 3, 4 & 5

👥 Eligibility: Boys and Girls born in 2015 & 2016

Celebrating another week of standouts across the club! 💚💛

A huge thank you to Besser for continuing to support our Player of the Game awards and recognising the effort our players bring to the court each week.

U9 Div 1 – Joseph 💚

Played with great confidence and attacked the basket, finishing some great layups and putting what he’s been working on at training into action! 🏀👏

U9 Div 3 – Robert 💚

Got into some foul trouble early but listened, adjusted and stayed disciplined. Kept himself in the game and continued contributing to his team. 👏🏀

U10 Boys Div 3 – Raymond 💚

Team-first basketball! 👏 Raymond showed some great unselfish passing, creating opportunities and helping his teammates get on the scoreboard. 🏀

U12 Girls Div 1 – Ivy 💚

Made great space on offence, worked hard in help defence and showed big improvement on the boards, including following her own shots. 💪🏀

U12 Boys Div 2 – Niko 💚

A great all-round game from Niko! Strong defensive pressure and some great shooting at the offensive end. 🔒🏀

U12 Girls Div 3 – Millie 💚

Outstanding on defence! 🔒 Millie brought great defensive pressure and used her voice all game to communicate and help her teammates. 🗣️🏀

U12 Div 3 – Ronan 💚

Listened well and executed the game plan, brought strong defence and worked hard on his shooting form throughout the game. 🔒🏀

U12 Boys Div 4 – David 💚

Worked hard from start to finish, bringing great effort at both ends of the court on offence and defence. 💪🏀

U14 Girls Div 1 – Aaliyah 💚

Brought plenty of grit on offence and adapted really well to defensive changes throughout the game. 💪🏀

U16 Boys Div 1 – Xavier 💚

Never gave up and kept competing right to the end, working hard on the boards and pulling down important rebounds for his team. 💪🏀

U16 Boys Div 3 – Hamish 💚

Strong all game and consistently the first one back on defence. Brought the energy when his team needed it and helped lead the comeback. 💪⚡🏀

New to the club and new to the game, Dom was everywhere! Finding space, making some great runs and scoring our only basket in a tough game. 🏀💚

U10 Div 3 – Alonzo 🏀

Channelled his inner Dennis Rodman today! 💪 Relentless on the rebounds and worked hard to turn those second chances.

U10 Div 2 – Kitana 🌟

First ever game basket! 🏀🙌 Kitana backed it up with outstanding defence and a huge effort at both ends of the court.

U12 Div 1 – Maddison 💚

The hard work is showing! Getting stronger, playing with more confidence and never giving up. Always running and always working. 💪

U12 Div 2 – Aksh 💚

Hustle from start to finish! Aksh worked hard all game and left absolutely everything out on the court. 💪🏀

Set the tone defensively today! 🔒 Vincent worked hard on every possession and made life difficult for the opposition.

Did all the little things! Great teammate, moved the ball, attacked the rebounds, marked his player and did everything his coach asked of him. 👏🏀

Brought the defensive pressure all game! 🔒 Hazel worked hard, competed on every possession and gave it everything she had. 🏀

A great all-round effort from Hayden! Worked hard, stayed involved and brought plenty of energy to the court. 🏀👏

Owned the paint! 💪 Lucy battled hard on the boards and brought strong defence around the basket all game. 🏀
