The Darwin Cricket Club I was standing on a corner... The Darwin Cricket Club, known as the Eagles, is an amateur to semi-professional cricket club based in Darwin, NT.

Located at the picturesque Kahlin Oval in the inner city suburb of Larrakeyah which is a five minute walk from the CBD. The Club has a strong history and fine tradition of producing premier cricketers to the Darwin & District Cricket Competition and NT Representative duties while also attracting first class players to the Club during the winter. We cater for all levels of cricket, from beginners w

ith Woolworths Blast Cricket held on a Friday evenings, juniors teams from U11's through to U17's and senior men's teams in all five grades. Premier grade to C grade is played on Saturday, and D & E grade play on Sundays. The season begins in early April and runs to mid September. Training start times:
Preseason usually begins in mid Feb to early March (training times announced via posts). Season: 5pm to 7pm on a Tuesday and Thursday for Seniors. Junior training times are confirmed closer to the season start date. The Eagles are also strong socially, with at least three functions held during the regular season, a favourite being the annual Quiz Night held in front of the Pavilion, and the ever so popular Cocktail night.

Kicking off with the girls tonight at Nightcliff against Tracy.
Our fundraising night at Silks Darwin is also on tonight, so get around somewhere!

The 2 Dayers kick off this weekend with A's down at Kahlin against PINT as we celebrate ladies day and pay homage to all the women not just at our club but at Pints too. Players, mums, wives, girlfriends & besties.

On Sunday, the One Day Grand Finals are out at DXC, where again its a Darwin vs PINT match up. Get there to back the lads in.

We'll head back to Kahlin for a BBQ and reflections Sunday afternoon.

If you're heading to Darwin for the DCC 50th Anniversary celebrations in August, here's another reason to make the trip.

We've been talking about it for months and now tickets are finally on sale.

Test cricket is returning to the Top End for the first time in more than 20 years when Australia takes on Bangladesh at Marrara from 13 to 17 August.

The plan is simple: grab a General Admission ticket and congregate in the outer. Good cricket, good company and the chance to be there when Test cricket returns to Darwin, with DCC's own Jake Weatherald opening the batting.

Priority access opens this Friday (Tomorrow) for CricketPlus members, with early bird General Admission tickets just $30.
