The Pints Netball club is one of the largest clubs in the Darwin Netball Association with over 200 players across both junior and senior divisions.

Over the last week our very own Layla Church represented at the First Nations Tournament. This is a massive achievement at only 16 years old and we are so proud of the commitment and effort she showed in the lead up, as well as the standard she produced during tournament.
The team played quality netball against some tough opposition and came away with a win in their final game against ACT!

💫 2026 Clubperson of the Year - Lili Christophers

At just 23 years of age, Lili has already become one of the most active and committed members of our club, and when you look at everything she has taken on this year, it is actually quite impressive just how many different hats she wears.
As junior coordinator, she manages almost 150 junior athletes, supports coaches, participates in team selections and manages all the behind-the-scenes little jobs that are required to ensure our 15 junior teams to be on court every single week.
Lili also helped deliver our eight-week NetSetGO program, giving up her time to help introduce some of our youngest members to netball.
Perhaps the biggest undertaking we had as a club this year was the launch of our High-Performance Pathways Program which Lili was allocated the role of our inaugural Under 17 Head Coach.
She also played a major role in our first Adelaide High Performance Camp, helping with the organisation, supervision and delivery of the camp, as well as taking on the organisation of our Deckchair Cinema fundraiser to help make that opportunity possible for our athletes.
And if that wasn't enough, Lili also helps out with the ‘Gen Z’ side of our social media content, continues to coach outside of Pints in the DNA Talent Academy and NNT Train Like Storm sessions, and has continued developing herself as a coach by completing her Intermediate Coaching Accreditation.
Amongst all of that, she's still managed to play Premier League and represent the Territory with the Territory Storm at the Super Netball Reserves Tournament in Sydney.
She is reliable, professional, approachable and always willing to put her hand up when something needs to be done.
She is also someone our younger athletes can look to and see what is possible within our club, having grown with us since she was 14, not only as a player, but as a coach, mentor and leader.
Lili, your contribution to Pints throughout 2026 has been significant, and you've played a huge role in developing both our athletes and our club with a strong passion for junior development and drive to make our club even better. 💛💚

🌟2026 21&U Deans-Kellam Player of the Year - Sienna Boxall

Sienna’s journey to this award is one that deserves a little more recognition than simply looking at what she has achieved on court this season.
Sienna suffered a significant knee injury back in November 2024 and in her first conversation with the club after the injury, all she wanted to know was what capacity she could help in for the 2025 season.
At just 16 years old and suffering a devastating injury, she looked for a way forward, to find a way to contribute, and she got on with it.
Throughout 2025, while she was working through her rehab, Sienna continued to contribute to the club. She took on the U15 Division 1 coaching role, leading them to win the grand finale, and then stepped back into umpiring across both junior and senior competitions. She also attended multiple of our 8-week NSG sessions to help during the 2025 and 2026 season.
She found a way to stay involved, to contribute and to keep developing, even when she couldn't do the thing she probably wanted to do most which was play.
Then this year, she finally got that opportunity.
Sienna made her return to the court in Division 1, playing a couple of games before Premier League needed a player and the opportunity came for her to step back into the Premier League environment. And she hasn't looked back since.
At times, you could genuinely look at her on court and forget that she'd spent such a significant period away from the game.
But what I think has been most impressive is watching her grow week after week.
She has learnt from every game, every challenge and every high-pressure situation. She's been thrown into some big moments, had to adapt quickly, and each time she's been asked to step up, she has.
In 2026, Sienna coached our U13 Division 1 Dragons team, she umpired on both junior and senior nights every week, and she continued to give back to the club while also competing at the highest level herself which is exactly what it means to be a Pints athlete.
Sienna, you have absolutely earned the 2026 21&U Deans Kellam Player of the Year Award, and it has been pretty special to watch you come back and do what you've done this year 💛💚

💫 2026 Choices Flooring Junior of the Year - Sofia Coppola

Sofia has shown an incredible level of commitment to their own development, but at the same time has consistently looked for ways to give back to the club and help the people around her.

Sofia was selected into our inaugural Under 15 High Performance Pathway Program this year, and of all 22 athletes across our U15 and U17 squads, she recorded the highest attendance rate. She consistently showed up, put the work in and demonstrated the level of professionalism and commitment that we want to see from athletes in our High Performance Program.

This year, she volunteered to co-coach our NetSetGO Geckos — a team made up entirely of first-year netballers.
Sofia has done an amazing job helping those girls learn the fundamentals, build confidence, work together and, most importantly, enjoy coming to netball each week.
And she even managed to guide them through an undefeated season!

Sofia has volunteered at every major fundraising event throughout the season, including our Bunnings BBQ and the Deckchair Cinema fundraiser.
At the Bunnings BBQ, she even managed to recruit their grandparents to come along and volunteer who were fresh off the plane from Germany!

Sofia is respectful, hardworking, reliable, positive and incredibly willing to have a go.
And although she is still a junior herself, she is already showing the qualities of the type of leader we hope our younger players will become. You should be incredibly proud of what you've achieved this year, not just as a player, but as a coach, volunteer, teammate and role model 💛💚

🌟Junior Grand Final Wrap Up🌟

Our junior stars put on some serious displays of netball during the final's series with it all leading to the grand final where we had three junior teams represent!

U13 Div1
This team has had an exceptional year. Working hard to build connections, build base skill and connect as a team. They truely earned their grand final spot but came in knowing they had a big task ahead. In a game of momentum shifts, there was no telling how it would end. Defence worked hard to turn ball over with the midcourt bringing it down to our shooters with confidence. In a nail biting ending, they ended up going down by ONE goal to Phoenix Flames but what a game and they should be so proud!

U17 Div2
This team managed to just finish inside the top 4 at the end of the regular season and fought their way into the grand final! A strong Banks team was their opponent who made us work for every opportunity but we continue to fight back the whole way. Banks proved too strong in the end, defeating us 29-14 but this team has grown so much over the season and we are excited to see what happens next year.

U17 Div1 HPPP
Up against the biggest competition of the season in Phoenix Flames, this team knew the task at hand was a big one. Having worked hard all year to build strong combinations to counteract the opponent, they came out firing in the first quarter to take the lead early heading into quarter time. Strong shooting from Flames brought them back into the competition and the momentum continued to shift every quarter with an amazing display of netball from both teams. Phoenix took the win 38-26 but we are so proud of this inaugural HPPP team and know this is just the beginning.

We already cannot wait for 2027. Getting 15 junior teams on the court each week is no easy task but with coaches, players and supporters like ours - it makes it so worthwhile. PROUD 💚💛

🌟Senior Grand Final Wrap Up - PREMIERS🌟

Contrary to news posted on other channels 😉, our legendary PLR team took home the Karen Schneider Premiership cup for the FIFTH year in a row 🏆

From the first whistle, there was no stopping this team. Having finished minor premiers and then losing the 1v2 in the semi final, redemption was the key word. Shooters were on FIRE, defence showed no mercy and midcourt worked their hardest to maintain an error free attacking work rate. Perfect combination for a 5th premiership with everyone stepping on the court and playing their role leading to a 49-36 defeat of Nightcliff Tigers.

SO proud of these legends and all the PLR teammates that have come before them to make the 5-peat a history making reality 💛💚

🌟Senior Grand Final Wrap Up - Runner Up🌟

What a grand final series it was!
Four of our teams finished as the runner up in their senior grand final clash and we couldn't be more proud of the efforts it took all involved to get there.

Premier League
A fierce, fast and physical battle - what a 60minute game of netball this was! No team would give the other an inch. Tough 1v1 defence, slick midcourt and absolute ice cold shooting accuracy there was nothing in it at 3/4 time. Our team gave it all they had but unfortunately Tigers came away with a well fought win at 53-50.

Division 1 Dragons
Our Dragons faced a tough Banks outfit in the Grand Final this year and it was on from the first whistle. Both teams battling to convert every possession and create opportunity. Unfortunately Banks proved too strong and came away with the win 59-35.

Division 4 Greenants
Up against their biggest competition all year in Waratahs, our Greenants had a surefire battle on their hands. With the defence turning over ball every chance they got, it was bound to be a battle of the shooters. With the margin swaying as the game went on, eventually it swung in Waratahs favour 26-22.

Division 5
Our Div5 legends were looking to go one better than last year and were pumped to give it their best shot. With scores level at half time, they knew they had to dig deep to fight it out against a strong Waratahs team. Unfortunately Waratahs proved why they finished top of the ladder and prevailed 29-19.

Not taking home the win does hurt but just making it to a grand final is a serious accomplishment and all of these teams battled right through until the end.
We are proud of all the players, coaches, managers and all the extra sideline personnel for supporting our teams this year and know they will be back to give it another crack next year 💚💛

The School Sport Australia 12 and Under Netball Championships starts today in Darwin at the Territory Netball Stadium.

Pints players Ruby, Charlie, Amelia and Kiana are representing the NT!

Come down to the stadium and cheer them on. Games are being played today, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

📸 Senior Grand Final Preview 4&5

Last but certainly not least, it is our Premier League and Premier Reserve teams heading into tomorrow night's grand final chasing a 4-peat for PL and a 5-peat for PLR.

"PLR have had an incredible season and have earned their place in the Grand Final! Every player has contributed to some powerful wins, working seamlessly together down the court and showcasing the Pints values throughout the season. PLR will leave nothing on the court this Friday night as they work towards another premiership. We can’t wait to see the team take the court and give it everything they’ve got!

PL have also had an impressive season, showing great resilience through some tough circumstances. While some losses and injuries hit hard, the team continued to come back stronger, more determined and ready to play the netball they know best.
PL have continued to fight and are ready to give it everything this Friday night.

It’s set to be a great Grand Final against Tigers for both PL and PLR. Bring it on!"
