The countdown is on! ⏰🎣

EOIs for the 2027 Top End Barra Series close at the end of this month, so you've got around 1 week left to get yours in.

If you're keen to be part of another season of barra fishing, good mates, plenty of laughs and a few tall fishing tales, now's the time to lock it in.

🐟 Teach me how to Dougie! 🐟

A big shout out to young Douglas on his awesome 73cm barra caught over the weekend! 👏🔥

We love seeing juniors getting amongst the barra, learning new skills, and enjoying the great outdoors.

His Dad, Ben, managed to get onto a few barra as well, with the boys putting together a nice haul from just a half-day session on the water. 💪🎣

After the fishing was done, Sunday was spent taking in all the action at the MXGP 🏍️💨

After 1.5 days of me sitting on a donut and Dad only managing one fish, the highlight of the trip was honestly the meat pies for lunch. 🥧😅 Morale was pretty low!

Just when we were ready to call it and admit defeat, we decided on one last desperation troll. Somehow, we went from donuts to filling both our bags! 🎣🔥

Don't forget anglers, scores need to be submitted by 6pm today. Get those scores in!

The Top End Barra Series is looking for sponsors to get on board for 2027 🗓

For those who don't know, we are a volunteer-run, not-for-profit, family-friendly social fishing comp built by anglers for anglers. Each season we get out there and chase barra all over the Top End, bringing mates, families and keen fishos together for a bloody good time on the water.

Our rounds currently take us to:

🎣 Bynoe Harbour
🎣 Darwin Harbour
🎣 Adelaide River
🎣 the Billabongs.. and there's even talk that the South might be back on the cards for 2027! 👀✨️

It's more than just fishing, it's a social comp, a chance to explore the Territory and an excuse to spend a few weekends chasing barra with good people.

Now we are looking for sponsors for the 2027 season who want to genuine grassroots fishing comp and put their brand in front of a passionate community of local anglers and families.

Road should be awesome!

Grading commenced yesterday on Leaders Creek road. They'll be doing SWA road too. Just in time for the Top End Barra Series round 5😃

We'll be open at 4:30am Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th, for Fishos launching early at Leaders Creek, or staying here and heading off nice and early to SWA ramp. We still have rooms available, so give us a call if you'd like to book.

Round 5 is nearly here! 🎣🔥

Join us on the 19th & 20th September as we head to the Adelaide River for what should be an action-packed round.

We've been hearing some great reports from the area, with plenty of barra being caught and fish numbers looking very healthy. The Build Up is definitely here, the water is warming up, and the fish should be firing!

A quick reminder for anyone planning on fishing next season, make sure you get your 2027 EOI in as soon as possible. We already have a strong number of submissions and don't want anyone to miss out.
