Darwin Outrigger Canoe Club - DOCC

Darwin Outrigger Canoe Club - DOCC Darwin Outrigger Club is based at the Darwin Ski Club and paddles Fannie Bay and Darwin Harbour. Our members range in age from their 20s to 70s.

Darwin Outrigger Canoe Club (previously Arafura OCC) was founded by a group of like-minded people in 2004. Some paddle socially for fitness while others train for events around Australia. We meet in the Ski Club carpark on Tues & Thurs at 5:00pm for a 1 hour paddle (approx 8km). We also meet at 6am on Sat for a 2+ hour paddle (17-20km).

- We welcome visits from members of other AOCRA clubs. Message us if you'd like to join a paddle.

- For beginners, we run monthly Come and Try paddles, so Like our page to catch the events.

What a fantastic session on the water this morning! The energy was through the roof, the smiles were everywhere, and the vibes were unmatched.
We put in the work and tackled our deep water starts today—huge congratulations to everyone who nailed it! 👏👏
You couldn't ask for better conditions. We were treated to a quintessential Darwin dry season morning: picture-perfect turquoise waters, azure blue skies, and pure blue-water bliss. Happy faces, happy paddlers, and total high energy all around!
