A personal update — and a thank you to the gaming community.

This page represents where everything began. NT Esports > Next Tier Esports > Next Tier Gaming & Esports.

Back in 2015, we started as NT Esports, at a time when organised gaming and esports were still finding their place in the Northern Territory. We were running events, building communities, and creating competitive gaming experiences simply because we believed gaming and esports deserved a platform here and people wanted to compete in esports.

That early work grew into Next Tier Esports, and it became the foundation that allowed Next Tier to expand into everything it is today.

Gaming and esports have never been a side project — they’ve always been a core part of the vision. A place for competition, connection, expression, and belonging.

As we head into 2026, we’re bringing everything together under one unified brand:

NEXT TIER

This isn’t the end of gaming or esports — it’s the opposite.
It’s about giving it a bigger platform, more visibility, and stronger support alongside live entertainment and creative projects.

From here on, all gaming & esports experiences — including Arcadia, LANs, tournaments and community activations — will live under 'Next Tier'.

We wanted to let everyone know that BIG FUN LAN 2025 – Round 2 has been POSTPONED until the New Year.

👉 Good news though!
Arcadia will still be OPEN as planned:

🕕 6 PM – 10 PM
🎮 Casual gaming as usual
💻 You’re welcome to bring your PC or console and still game on with us!

We’ll be sharing further announcements soon regarding BIG FUN LAN and what’s coming next in 2026!
