19th. We'll take it.
Cons: Copped early damage due to being caught up in other drivers' incidents. Second one forced a pit with 9 mins of repairs. It happens. Copped a bunch of penalties trying to enter and exit pit lane. That's on me. I read the track map and still couldn't decipher that. Pit lanes on short tracks in Nascar are difficult not to breach (I'm claiming).
Pros: These last two tracks are avoided by some drivers and are two of the more difficult tracks in the US (see SVG tackling Bristol last weekend). Once I got clear I did find some pace and the lap times were coming down. I haven't murdered anyone (driver speak) in this series and have been able to run fairly clean. Gained some confidence.
Thanks for your support, Shane #73
(Apologies if anyone tried to watch the broadcast. We have been told it suffered technical issues 15mins in.)
