Just a few photos from our Father’s Day sessions yesterday! 🥋❤️

Our Father’s Day classes are always busy, but always lots of fun!

A big thank you to all the dads who came along and joined our Ninjas, Juniors and Youth/Seniors. It gave them a chance to train just as their children do and see just how strong they are becoming - blocks, strikes, punches, balance, reaction games and breaking through our break boards. 🥋💪

They also had a go at Knees Knees (one of our non-contact reaction games) before finishing with Noodle Wars, which is always a popular game! 😂

Some dads did two sessions so they could train with each of their children, and one dad did all three - 3 hours of training! 👏

Thanks to all the dads for coming along, having a go and joining in the fun. 🥋

📱 Reminder: AusAlert National Test Today

A reminder that the AusAlert national test will take place today at 1:30 pm ACST.

Compatible mobile phones, smartwatches, tablets, children's safety watches and Apple CarPlay devices may sound a loud alert and display a test message, even if they are on silent or Do Not Disturb.

For people experiencing domestic or family violence, this alert may be distressing if they have a hidden device. If it is safe to do so, switch the device off or place it in Flight Mode an hour before the test and keep it off for an hour or more after.

📱 National AusAlert Test – next week

Next week at 1:30 pm Darwin time (ACST) / 2:00 pm AEST, Australia will be testing the new AusAlert emergency warning system.

The alert will make compatible devices vibrate, play a siren-like sound and display a message confirming it is a national test.

Because it is being sent as a Critical Alert, it may still be received even if your phone is on silent or "Do Not Disturb". The purpose of the test is to make sure the new AusAlert emergency warning system is working properly and can reach people when it is needed during a real emergency.

Some older people, people with disability, or those experiencing domestic and family violence may not be aware the alert is coming. If you know someone who may be affected, please take a moment to let them know about today's test.

If you need support, contact 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732 or 13YARN on 13 92 76. In an emergency, always call 000.

Ninjas (4-6yo)
3:30–4:00 pm

Juniors: (7-11yo)
4:15–5:15 pm

Seniors: (12yo-adult)
5:30–7:00 pm

🥋 Thinking about giving karate a go? New students are always welcome at any time, and your first two lessons are free.
