Just a quick update from me.

After much consideration, I’ve decided to step away from racing for now.

As much as I’ve loved being out there and giving something new a crack, I just don’t have the time to give it the attention it deserves anymore. I’ve been doing a lot more filming work outside of my full-time job and unfortunately, you just can’t do it all!

Huge thanks to everyone who’s cheered me on, supported me either financially or as a supporter, or just asked how racing was going.

It’s been a lot of fun! Time for me to hang up the helmet (at least for now 😉).

Round 4 in the books 📚

Got back into it yesterday at Hidden Valley for round 4 of the DKA Track Championship.

Got plenty of seat time with 3x 10 lap heats & a 12 lap final. Slowly getting more comfy each time out there. Still chasing fitness to put some consistent laps together but we will get there.

Kaylee was very helpful on the day to help me get out there each time which is much appreciated.

Couple weeks off now until the next one 🤙🏽🏁

We would like to wish Nathan & the whole 465 Racing team the best of luck as they compete in the NSW State Speedway Karting titles this Saturday at Gunnedah.

Nathan and the team have been instrumental in my karting endeavours over the past few seasons so we are all rooting for him up here! Give em hell mate and most importantly- have fun!

DKA Track Championship - Round 3 🏁

Well first race meeting on the bitumen was certainly eye opening! Definitely showed me that my fitness is not quite up to scratch.
Was great just to be out there and try something completely different to what I’m used to.
All in all, the Kart felt really good. The driver just needs to do a bit of work away from the track to get a bit more comfortable out there…

As far as results go, ran around the back of the field whilst trying to learn the kart & track. There’s certainly a lot of fast and more experienced operators out there so it’s good to watch what others are doing.

Must thank Jarrod & Saint Goldoni for getting the Kart prepared for me to take over the reigns and for all the advice in the lead up.
Kaylee, Blair, and Elgina were a great help at the track yesterday & today during post race maintenance.

Month off now - We go again on 10th of May.

We’re back! And you’ll soon notice that this isn’t a Speedway Kart!

Tonight, we race at Hidden Valley Raceway for Round 3 of the Darwin Karting Association Series in my recently purchased PCR Kart.

Can’t thank Jarrod Goldoni enough for getting me to this point of hitting the track for my first meeting.

Will see how we go tonight - all about having fun and learning the ropes - this certainly isn’t speedway anymore!🤪

Latrobe 16/11/24

Solid run through both our heats with a 4th and a 5th both starting from 5th. This qualified me to start from position 3 in the final which I was pretty chuffed about. Didn’t have the pace to keep up with the top 3. Ran in 4th for the majority of the race before a small mistake allowed 5th to go past. Finished off the feature in 5th with a straight kart - I’m pretty stoked with that!

Thanks to my good mates Lachie & Tom for helping out and for their support yesterday as well as Nathan, Zhané & Graeme from 465 Racing.
My partner, Kaylee couldn’t make it yesterday but I appreciate her support from home ❤️.

It’s been very quiet here lately….

Yesterday I raced at AutoKlene Hobart Speedway for the first time in the 125 Kart Category - A bit different to last seasons Modified Engine!

Started off the back for both heats due to moving up a division. Found my feet quite swiftly, mixing with the mid pack throughout the night and staying competitive. Very pleased for my first run with a bit more power! Few things to fine tune but all in all, very pleased and had heaps of fun!

🔥 1 - 11th ~ 8th
🔥 2 - 10th ~ 5th
Final - 8th ~ 7th
