📢PLAN AHEAD ALERT📢

🚫ROAD CLOSURES will be in place for some Darwin C*D Streets, Gardens Road, Gilruth Avenue, East Point Road, Alec Fong Lim Drive, Conacher Street and Atkins Drive from 6am on SUNDAY 14 JUNE 2026.

🚗If you are driving to Mindil Reserve to participate in the 13km and 4km events for the 2026 NT City2Surf, please ensure you are at Mindil before road closures are in place. Roads will reopen as the last participants in each event pass through.

🚗If you are driving to Mindil Reserve for your children to participate in the Macca's Mile at 8:30am, roads closer to the venue may be open BUT PLAN AHEAD and give yourself enough time to get to the start line.

Don’t forget to hydrate this NT City2Surf. We recommend you:

• Don’t consume any alcohol within 48 hours of the event starting.
• Go to bed the night before well hydrated.
• Leave home in the morning hydrated and take a bottle of water to the start line.
• Take a drink at each water station. Take small sips and pinch the top of the cup to create a ‘funnel’ to avoid
spillage.
