A special mention to our Under 14’s coach Ben Campbell for leading the East squad, and to our very own Luka Cameron who captained the Under 12’s team. To do so as a bottom-age player is an incredible achievement and something our entire club is extremely proud of.

To all of our players, you represented yourselves, your families and our club with pride. The effort, sportsmanship and determination you showed on the night was outstanding. You should all be incredibly proud of what you achieved.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support the kids and help create such a fantastic atmosphere. Seeing so many Nilma Darnum families cheering on our future stars is what junior football is all about.

Our first ever Nilma Darnum Under 8’s team headed out to Ellinbank today and what a day it was!

Yep… it was wet, muddy and freezing at times, but the kids absolutely loved every second of it. We kicked a few goals, had some awesome moments, and every single player wore the jumper proudly.

The best part of the day was seeing the massive smiles on the kids’ faces from start to finish. That’s what junior footy is all about — having fun, making mates and enjoying the game.

Today was another huge step forward for our junior club and a big part of building something special for the future. Watching these kids run around out there makes everyone excited for what’s ahead at Nilma Darnum.

So proud of all our players, coaches and families for making the day such a ripper! ❤️🖤
