Three lads. Two weeks. One of the toughest courses in the sport.
Last week, Zephyr, Ben and Rob were tested mentally and physically on what it takes to become an AFF Instructor.
Written exam. Oral exam. Practical exam.
These fellas had their heads in the books for weeks on end, and on a few of the jumps they had their heads where they definitely didn't want them (haha) but the hard work paid off.
They also had some challenging mock students to deal with. Special mention to Student Mr Brown, who played the naughty student a little too well, some would say.
A massive thank you to Don Woodland, our APF Examiner, for his eagle eye, his harsh markings, and his love for training the next generation. And to Belgy, for helping out on the oral panels and passing on some awesome knowledge.
Congratulations boys. You've now got the endorsement to teach people to skydive solo, but the training has only just started, and we're looking forward to helping and fostering you into the instructors we know you'll be.
Easy to say it was a great couple of weeks now that it's over. It was tough going.
Well done, lads and welcome to the TSS family.
