Some of my highlights from a Longsword Tournament at Ursa Major HEMA Academy

Not quite happy with my efforts, i fell back onto an old habit and thus i feel ashamed i had pulled my own rug out from under me and it reflected in the matchs’ results.

Ah well, more to drill and practice into myself before my next tournament War In The West! Cheers to Ursa Major HEMA Academy for hosting and organising these tournaments and cheers to everyone i fought today, i hope to fight more of you at the next one!

Nearly 2 weeks ago i competed at the 2026 Iron Bloom Tournament, hosted generously by Aiginskalk - Historical European Martial Arts and met plenty fierce and still yet, exhilarating and stimulating fights and competitors

I had a blast with every fight and while still no medal yet to bring home, i did get much closer to that goal and every defeat felt very close and still very satisfying to experience.

Heres a video of some highlights generously taken by my partner and friends who came up with me!
