Another mid-season addition to our club is the guys from Road & Civil Surveys. These guys have been a major part in our master plan for our home field and have allowed us to use their many resources to help improve our club. Hi Chiefs families,

Confirmation that training sessions in preparation for the upcoming Country Champs trials will be going ahead.

The training sessions will be held at Hector Harvey Baseball Park on:

Wednesday 1 July – 4:00pm
Wednesday 8 July – 4:00pm

This opportunity is open to players in Zooka, U12 and U14 who are turning 13 or younger in 2026.

These training sessions are a great opportunity for players to prepare, build confidence and get some extra development ahead of trials.

To assist with preparing for the training, if you are planning on coming and haven’t already completed the EOI form, please complete the form using the QR code attached.

The and proudly announce the launch of the Illawarra Development Hub.

Trials will be held at Cringila 7th, 9th and 10th July from 6-9pm.

Illawarra Development Hub represents a significant investment in regional baseball, bringing a structured, development training environment to the Illawarra and Southern Region. Open to players aged 12–18, the program runs twice weekly at Cringila Baseball Park.
Underpinning the Development Hub is a landmark partnership with the Illawarra Academy of Sport, one of Australia’s most decorated regional academies with a history dating back to 1985 and a track record of developing over 8,000 athletes, Olympians, world champions, and senior national representatives across all sports.

Through this partnership, selected players will gain access to group strength and conditioning sessions, sport-specific education, and personal development workshops, all delivered through the IAS’s established athlete services framework.

Sessions will be delivered by accredited coaches, ensuring a consistent high standard of instruction across hitting, pitching, fielding, and game development.

The Illawarra Development Hub offers a clear bridge to representative and state-level competition.

For players with NSW Country representative ambitions, this program provides the experience, exposure, and structured development needed to take their game to the next level.

The hub is a player development program designed to identify, challenge, and elevate baseball players across the Southern Region.

Open to players aged 12–18, the program runs twice weekly at Cringila Baseball Park.

The Illawarra Development Hub offers a clear bridge to representative and state-level competition.

For players with NSW Country representative ambitions, this program provides the experience, exposure, and structured development needed to take their game to the next level.

Trials will be held on July 7th and 9th (with a third date available if required) at Cringila Baseball Park, 6:00pm–8:00pm.
