Unfortunately was not the day for the Chiefs.

4th grade struggled to come back from one big inning, but showed a lot of heart. The young guys showed the way with some big hits and great defensive plays.

3rd grade just fell short, beaten by the umpires clock. The guys had all the momentum but wasnt given the time.

2nd grade finished the year with the minor premiership and get to go straight through to the grand final .

Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 Defeats Southern Panthers 1st Grade 2026 On Back Of Clutch Display From Kennedy

Nick Kennedy drove in six runs on four hits to lead Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 past Southern Panthers 1st Grade 2026 29-1 on Saturday at Hector harvey. Nick Kennedy doubled in the second scoring three, singled in the fifth scoring two, and singled in the sixth scoring one.

Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Hayden. Freeme singled, scoring two runs, Quinlan Pitt scored after tagging up, Drew Ferris singled, scoring one run, Jackson Mannix singled, scoring three runs, and Cody Cartwright singled, scoring one run.

Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 added to their early lead in the top of the second inning when Nick Kennedy doubled, scoring three runs, and Cody Cartwright singled, scoring one run.

A double by Drew Ferris extended the Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 lead to 13-1 in the top of the third inning.

Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 scored six runs on two hits in the top of the fifth inning. Nick Kennedy singled, scoring two runs, Cody Cartwright drew a walk, scoring one run, Jarryd Prince drew a walk, scoring one run, Quinlan Pitt singled, scoring one run, and Hayden. Freeme drew a walk, scoring one run.

Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 scored eight runs on five hits in the top of the sixth inning. Jackson Mannix doubled, scoring one run, Jarryd Prince drew a walk, scoring one run, Lachlan Leicht grounded out, scoring one run, Glenn Sharp drew a walk, scoring one run, Bailey Rosser singled, scoring one run, Nick Kennedy singled, scoring one run, and Jackson Mannix singled, scoring two runs.

Bailey Rosser led things off on the bump for Chiefs 1st Grade 2026. The right-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and one run over four innings, striking out two and walking one. Elijah Tanouye led things off on the bump for Southern Panthers 1st Grade 2026. The right-handed pitcher surrendered 12 hits and 12 runs (six earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking two. Hayden. Freeme tossed two innings of scoreless ball for Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 in relief. The reliever gave up one hit, striking out one and walking one.

Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 tallied 21 hits in the game. Nick Kennedy and Jackson Mannix each collected four hits for Chiefs 1st Grade 2026. Drew Ferris, Cody Cartwright, and Bailey Rosser each collected multiple hits for Chiefs 1st Grade 2026. Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 had a strong eye at the plate, collecting 15 walks for the game. Cody Cartwright and Jarryd Prince led the team with three walks each. Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 turned one double play in the game. Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Hayden. Freeme had the most chances in the field with five.

Rhys Watson led the team with one run batted in. Beau Lessard went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Southern Panthers 1st Grade 2026 in hits. Southern Panthers 1st Grade 2026 turned one double play in the game.

Chiefs 1st Grade 2026 welcome Berkeley Eagles 1st Grade on Saturday for their next game.
