Dear Members,
We have now received permission from the Dandenong Council to officially reopen the club.
From 12:00pm on the 1st October 2021, bookings will be able to be made via the website. https://play.tennis.com.au/DandenongTennisClub
The guidelines outlined below, that have been set by the council and Tennis Victoria, must be followed by the club, its members and the general public at all times. We are very fortunate to be able to reopen again so we must all do the right thing and follow the guidelines that have been set.
The guidelines are as follows:
1. Singles play can return for two people for participants who are not fully vaccinated.
2. Doubles play can return for four people from no more than two households for fully vaccinated participants. Participants must carry proof of vaccination and may be required to show this to an authorised officer at any time.
3. Players must reside within 15km of the tennis club
4. Face coverings are to be worn except if a medical exception applies. They can be removed when participating
5. All participants must check in using the Service Victoria QR Code located on the front gate.
6. The clubhouse and toilets are not accessible unless you are an authorised person.
7. All COVIDSafe principles must be followed.
8. All participants' names must be added into the booking.
9. Participants younger than 12 years of age are treated as a fully vaccinated person
10. Courts are closed at 8:30pm to allow everyone to get home safely before the 9pm curfew
