A service to celebrate Ryan’s life will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Upper Coomera Wednesday 27th May at 10am.

All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and honour his memory. Please wear something bright and colourful.

For those unable to attend a livestream will also be available.

Vale Ryan Ciriello

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of long-time club member Ryan Ciriello after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Ryan began his hockey journey with us as a junior at SNP and became a much-loved member of our club community for more than 20 years. He was also a much loved person in the wider hockey community through his involvement coaching countless juniors with the Ciriello Coaching Academy.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Ryan’s wife Stefanie, daughters Annabelle and Alyssa, parents Lou and Suzie, siblings Chris and Stacey, as well as all of Ryan’s close friends and teammates at the club.

Rest in Peace, Ryan.

Congratulations to our young superstar Wyatt Cobbledick, who on Friday won the Darrell White Special Achievement Award at the Gippsland Sports Academy!

At just 10 years old, Wyatt is currently playing in our Men’s Pennant E team and has made an outstanding start to his senior career by scoring and assisting on debut.

Last season, some of Wyatt’s incredible achievements included:
• Becoming the youngest goal scorer in Men’s Vic League 3 history
• Captaining the Gippsland Bulls U12s at the JSC
• Representing the East Gippsland U14 boys
• Competing in the U16 Pennant competition

An amazing achievement and an exciting future ahead, well done Wyatt!

Huge congratulations to Awais and Billy on winning the NZ Heritage Tournament with the Punjab Heritage team! 🏆

The boys had an awesome time over in New Zealand, it was a great standard of hockey perfect and preparation heading into the season!

The annual Easter tournament in Albury - this time the Warriors team was topped up with a few Albury locals - as per the last few years we came Second to NSW Blues!! A great weekend of fun, hockey, golf and good spirit!! Look forward to next year.

Many of our club members and the wider hockey community will know Ryan Ciriello, a long-time and valued part of the Warriors community. Sadly, Ryan is currently facing an incredibly difficult battle with stage 4 bowel cancer, recently, he and his family have received heartbreaking news.

A GoFundMe has been set up to support Ryan, his wife Stefanie, and their two young daughters during this incredibly challenging time to help ease financial pressures so the family can focus on what truly matters, spending precious time together and creating lasting memories.
