Don’t forget to sign up for regional cross country

🚨 Only 2 weeks left to enter the 2026 Region Cross-Country Carnivals! Don't miss out! 🏃‍♀️🏃

The Region Cross-Country Carnivals are individual cross-country events and also serve as qualifying events for the 2026 State Cross-Country Championships at Lake Dewar on Saturday 15th August.

📅 Entries close: 11:00am, Wednesday 1st July 2026. No late entries will be accepted.

Please consider signing up for SMR region cross country. This is for u9-u17, and will be held at Carrum Downs on 18th July Registration and finishing the race is automatic qualifying for state cross country.

Our Dandenong Centre will reimburse $14 to all athletes that enter thanks to a successful BBQ last week.

April won SMR and State Championship last year. Maybe we can have more podiums this year.

Our aim is to have at least 3 athletes in as many age groups as possible, which allows us to compete in the teams podium for that age group.

Registrations close July 1st, 11am

State cross country relays Saturday, no local competition. Email sent to all registered members with details, including teams.

Next week training Wednesday 4:30-5:30, and the same for the rest of June

Special mention : April (u11) won the u14 5km race at Lakeside today in under 18min. What an incredible result. Well done
