9 Years of Outstanding Leadership
Today we recognise and celebrate Sonny for an incredible 9 years as President of Buckley Ridges Cricket Club.
Over the past decade, Sonny has dedicated countless hours to ensuring our club continued to grow, succeed and remain one of the premier cricket clubs in the state. His leadership, passion and commitment have been second to none.
Under Sonny’s presidency, the club has enjoyed remarkable success both on and off the field. We have celebrated countless premierships across senior and junior programs, developed generations of players, strengthened our community connections and continued to build a culture that people are proud to be part of.
While premierships and trophies are a reflection of success, Sonny’s greatest achievement has been the environment he has helped create. A club where people feel welcome, where lifelong friendships are formed and where players, families, volunteers and supporters are proud to call Buckley Ridges home.
The sacrifices made by volunteer presidents often go unseen. The meetings, phone calls, planning, problem solving and countless hours behind the scenes are all done for one reason a genuine love for the club. Sonny has embodied that commitment for nine years.
