A great bloke and a great role model for the shooting sports. RIP mate.
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of someone many of you would have known, Frank Petsch.
Frank was a familiar face around Brisbane Gun Club, always generous with his time and willing to lend a hand wherever it was needed. Many of us had our very first experience at the club through Frank, as he introduced countless people to the sport through the Come and Try days.
In recent years, Frank had moved to northern NSW where he continued his passion for helping others, volunteering with Marine Rescue. Tragically, Frank lost his life while doing exactly that — helping those in need. He will be remembered as a dedicated volunteer and a true community-minded person who gave so much of himself to others.
Frank was a valued member of our community, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Vale Frank — you will be missed.
