📣 2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Save the date! Our 2026 AGM will be held on Monday 23 November at 6.00pm at Dalby Rugby Club.

All positions on the Management Committee will be declared vacant and open for nomination, with the committee for the 2027 season to be elected at the AGM.

Interested in getting involved? Nomination forms are available now and can be submitted ahead of the AGM or on the night.

🌾 Little Wheatmen. Big things. 🏉

Yesterday saw the 77th O’Callaghan Cup played between Toowoomba Grammar School and Downlands College, with TGS claiming a record seventh consecutive win.

Among the players taking the field were three familiar faces to Dalby Rugby — Archie Smart and Austin Webster in the TGS 1st XV, and Mac Stirling in the Downlands 2nd XV.

All three boys started their rugby journey right here in Dalby, pulling on a Wheatmen jersey in Under 6s.

From little tackers chasing the ball around the paddock to lining up in the Downs’ biggest school rugby fixtures — it’s pretty special to see where a few years of rugby can take you.

And they’re not the only ones. Over the years, we’ve also seen plenty of boys join our club through their teenage years who represented their schools yesterday.

We’re proud to have played a small part in their rugby journeys, and even prouder to see them still out there having a crack.

Keep chasing the ball, boys. 🏉💙💛
