Forest-Stanley Football Club The Forest Football Club was established in 1900 and Stanley at around the same time. Final scores were Forest Stanley 9.8 (62) defeated Smithton 1.24 (30).

Prior to their merger in 1963 Forest had won a total of a dozen senior grade premierships, but none since 1951, while Stanley had been premiers on eight occasions, including most recently in 1961. Both clubs had competed for many years in the Circular head Football Association, in which the newly merged club, Forest Stanley, would continue. Right from the outset the Demons proved extremely competitive, reaching the grand final in their debut season, and claiming the first of an eventual dozen senior grade premierships in 1965. In what has to go down as one of the most extraordinary grand finals ever to be played anywhere in Australia the Demons had seventeen scoring shorts compared to their opponents’ twenty-five but won comfortably by 32 points. The Demons’ peak years were the 1970s through to the mid 1980s. Between 1971 and 1986 they contested thirteen senior grade grand finals, winning eight of them. Forest Stanley has gone on to win 6 more grand finals including 1991, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2010 premier flags. UP THE DEE'S

Riley Evenhuis medal presentation ❤️💙

After Riley’s unfortunate accident on Grand Final day he was rushed to hospital with a severe broken leg.
Today we got the opportunity to present his medal. He excepting it with a huge smile on his face😍 great to see him up and about.
He’s recovering well and is already keen for next year once he’s covered 💪

The Club raffle dinner night was for our boys who were injured severely in 2026 and we raised $1500 for any loss of income.
Hopefully this helps the guys recover less stressful 💙❤️

Another exciting Announcement 📣 💙❤️

Our Committee tonight unanimously approved the Re appointment of Rowan Gray and Nathan House.

Rowan and Nathan did a fantastic job this year growing the team and more importantly the morale and confidence of this group.
We will continue to work on improving the team with education and skills of the game for the next generation coming through.

The u/16 team showed so much improvement and potential through out this season!! To finish the year so strongly with give them so much more confidence leading into 2027.

We really have got a fantastic group of u/16 players and parents involved in our club, and we are very excited for Rowan and Nathan to be leading them again 🙌

Be excited for more growth from this team next year ❤️💙💪

Our Club is Excited to announce Ryan Underwood as our senior coach for 2027 💙❤️🙌

Ryan has spent the last 4 years involved within our senior group as an assistant or on the bench controlling the magnets!
Playing a huge part in our back to back senior premierships as a player in 2025 and Bench coach in 2026.
Ryan has great values and has ability to connect to anyone who comes into our club on any level.
We are greatful to have someone like Ryan put his hand up to take on the the challenge of winning 3 in a row💪 💙❤️ Ryan will let the dust settle from the 2026 season and will start a campaign in the coming months!! Our club is excited to see this guy coach his own team 💙❤️

The club has been fortunate enough to have great stability having had Jake Lyndon for 3 consecutive years as senior coach. We really thank Jake for his service to our club for his 3 years as senior coach and also 1 year as assistant coach.
Our club is forever in debt for your commitment Jake Lyndon ❤️💙 2 time premiership coach to add 🙌 hopefully we see you back playing in 27 😅
