Ellen Leigh Pilates Pilates will engage the body from the inside out. Lengthening and strengthening the body and mind.

Pilates is a movement technique designed to reawaken and harness the body's natural internal power house, other wise referred to as 'core'. The classes are designed to raise and maintain the heart rate a little throughout the training session, and works syematically into strengthening the body form the inside out. Small apparatus are used during the session to enhance the class experience; to engage, lengthen and strengthen the body all over.

At Oceanside Physio, we offer more than just group fitness. We specialize in tailoring each class to individual needs, adjusting to how you're feeling each day. We believe in checking in with you to ensure you're moving in the best way possible.

We understand that you might have some inhibitions as you approach a class, but please know that we are here to listen to your needs and preferences.

Our studio is equipped with a variety of Pilates equipment, including the well-known Reformer, TrapezeBed, Wunda Chair, Barrel, and CoreAlign.

If you have specific exercise requirements, our team is here for you. Our in-house physiotherapist also complements our Studio Clinic, providing comprehensive support.

Good Afternoon Pilates Family.
We have a stunning Pilates clinic over looking over the east side of SKU in Birtinya that we invite you to checkout. We are a short walk away for anyone living in the immediate Birtinya area.
Our approach to class is unique & specialised for the individual. Our studio caters for up to 4 people per session which allows us to design each workout based upon how your body feels on each day when attending class.

Seated Pelvic Floor/Seated Pilates
Conducted in a seated position on stools with ergonomic cushions, the class focuses on augmenting core strength, refining torso control, and promoting a healthy spine in functional movements.
Unlike traditional weighted exercises, our approach entails activating smaller muscle groups, encouraging the body to work from the inside out.
Regardless of fitness level or strength, a robust and supported pelvic floor is essential for everyone spanning all ages and life stages.

Hi’ya Pilates Peeps, Long time no chat from me!
I’ve been regrouping my world after covid, 2 surgeries & multiple hospital admissions.
I have been teaching around the coast at various studios & now i’ve found myself sharing expert moment advice at Oceanside Physio located in the Pulse Medical building overlooking SCHU in Birtinya.
I am working in a clinical setting teaching a wide cross section classes catering for both private & semi-private groups in both equipment & mat pilates work.
I am also revisiting my Seated Pilates classes that have a focus to Pelvic floor function.
This Seated Pilates class is an express half hour session for busy workers & busy mums who need an edited workout session before work, after work, before heading home.
Details for these seated pilates classes are below & I encourage you to contact me personally by phone or email if you’d like to join me for a morning or afternoon session.

*LOOKING FOR CLASS COVERS*

I am looking for a Pilates instructor that can work in a clinical setting with a rehabilitation focus.

• The work is situated in a Physiotherapy clinic in Birtinya over looking SCU.

• The studio is set up with traditional equipment; Reformer, Trapeze Bed, Wunda Chair, Barrel & Core Align.

•. Preferred Physiotherapist or an EP for clinical setting.

• Open to instructors who are not trained/registered as an allied health practitioner.

• Traditional equipment trained instructors necessary

• Looking for class covers that may turn into permanent shifts for the right team member
