WHAT WOULD YOUR CLUB DO WITH $3000
Tasracing, in conjunction with the King Island Racing Club, are giving away $15,000 to community and sporting clubs on King Island.
$15,000 will be given away over two races, one thoroughbred and one harness, at the King Island races Saturday 18 January.
These races will each have six horse and a total of 12 clubs will be in the running to win cash for their club! Money will be allocated to clubs according to the final finishing order of their allocated horse in the nominated races. Prize money table below:
1st place $3,000 2nd place $1500 3rd place $1000 4th place $750 5th place $750 6th place $500
How It Works
To be eligible you will need to reply to this email and register your club.
All registered clubs go into a draw to be held at the King Island Hotel Friday 17 January 7.00pm. We have a special guest speaker on the night - champion jockey Damien Oliver!
12 clubs will be drawn out in total.
First club drawn out will be allocated horse 1 in the first nominated race. Second club drawn out horse 2 and so on until we have 12 clubs each with an allocated horse.
Your club will need 2 representatives present at the draw Friday 17 January to be eligible.
On Saturday 18 January your club will need to have a minimum of 4 representatives trackside at the King Island races to win one of the cash prizes.
If your allocated horse is scratched on race day your club will still receive a minimum of $500.
