Exciting Times Ahead………... and a busy weekend.

On Saturday the club had an interesting AGM and we are thrilled to announce we have a Council of 11 dedicated members, with Jeff Owen taking on the President’s role once again.

With Jeff’s leadership and our enthusiastic Council members, we are looking forward to this new year for 2024-2025.

The 2024 incoming Club Council are - President, Jeff Owen; SVP Bob Jones; JVP Rob Barden; Treasurer John Hender; Secretary Robyn van Dok;

Club Counsellors are - Wayne Sutton, Ray Jessop, Alan Barr, Scott Barnett, Phil Warner, Melissa Smith.

On Sunday 28/7/24 the club hosted a corporate shotgun shoot for a group of friends as part of their 30th birthday activities (refer att photo). This netted the club $840.00 income.

Thanks to those members who assisted with the clay thrower, scoring and range officering. An enjoyable time was had by everyone and sounds like some of them may join the club.

The anticipation for the completion of the new steel footbridge over the creek for access to the 50m targets was completed on Monday (refer photo attached).

The installation was completed and the old bridge removed by the crane hire people.

Thank you to those members for volunteering their time, Phil Warner, Mick Chambers, Jeff Owen, Ray Jessop and the forever conscientious young Bob Jones.

Rebuild Project for new walkway at the club.

Works have commenced on replacing the old wooden footbridge at the Club with a new steel structure.

Many thanks to our Project Manager, Jeff Owen and Bob Jones for their many hours of work and commitment to this project.

Thanks also to the members who have helped clearing the way and digging the footings.

The concrete for the footings will be poured in the next few days.

We ask the members to please take care when crossing the creek which you can do from the pistol range as well.

Thank you for everyone who attended the AGM.

Big thanks to all who cooked and brought a delicious lunch.
Everyone enjoyed the wonderful curry from Llyod, the hot food, tiny pizza slices and the amazing slices & cake.

Without the support from the members the day would not have been so successful.
The club really appreciates your efforts
Thank you.

Congratulations to the incoming committee & President Mark Wood, and we look forward to a great year ahead.
