The wind today was CRAZY!! Tents broken, stock flying, non-stop resetting/adjusting the display after it blew away a million times! This video shows one of the short windows of ‘calm’ where the modified display was at least in the same place.
Thank you to all of the wonderful people who stopped by our stall today and our wonderful market neighbours who helped (literally) hold down the fort! 🙏
We’ll be making an assessment in the morning as to whether it’s safe to return for the Sunday market. Safety has to come first for both us and our customers. We hope things calm down by the morning and we all get to enjoy some gorgeous Cronulla weather!
Some businesses had so much damage today that they’ll be unable to trade tomorrow. Please go to their websites or reach out and support them as they no doubt had stock organised for 2 days of trade. I’ve seen say their delicious scrolls will be available from a bakery pop up tomorrow instead - please go check it out. I can verify they’re incredible!! If you know of any other businesses impacted please give them a shout out here too.

Our first ever market stall will be at Muswellbrook Indoor Sports Centre from 9am to 1pm this Sunday December 15.
We’ve been invited to co-host by some talented, young, local jewellers (we’re family but were not biased at all 😉) so come along and check out their craft too.
