The Competition is divided into Seniors Grades and Junior Divisions. The Senior grades run from our highest level players in A Grade to our most senior players in Ladies Grade (over 35's). The Junior Division is age RESTRICTED - the player must be under 19 at the end of the competition year. The Junior Division for girls runs from Division 1 through to Division 4 softb

all for players aged 12 and over: Girls under 12 play Modball. Girls and boys aged 4 years and over play Teeball which is a fun introduction to the sport. The competition has a grade or division to CATER for every person - the mature, the very young, the novice and the experienced. Two games, two wins for the Aussie Spirit 💪🥎

The Aussie Spirit are building nicely towards the WBSC Women’s World Cup Group Stage 2026 in Prague, currently sharpening up at the Amsterdam Invitational ahead of next week’s action 🏆

Game 1 saw Australia dominate Czechia 8–0 in five innings, setting the tone early and never letting up. Georgia Hood powered the offence with a two-run homer, while the pitching staff combined for a composed shutout performance.

Game 2 was a much tighter contest, with the Spirit edging Italy 2–1 in a hard-fought battle. After Italy drew level late, Australia responded in the seventh to regain the lead and held firm under pressure, with Trzcinski closing it out when it counted.

UPDATE:

We are holding trials for our 2026 Open Representative Team and we would really like to see you there!

Players born between 1-Jan-1980 and 31-Dec-2010 that play in A, A-res, B grades or juniors in Div 1 and Div 1 res are eligible to trial. All interested players must attend the trial to be considered.

Players must be available for State Championships 24th – 26 July 2026. The backup weekend is 14th - 16th August 2026. Please note also that you must trial to be considered eligible as a pick-up player.

The trials will be held-
🥎 Monday 8th June, 6 - 8:30pm
🥎 Abbott Road Diamonds, Diamond 1

To be considered for the Representative Team, your attendance is compulsory.
