Curl Curl Hockey Club

Curl Curl Hockey Club Curl Curl Juniors Hockey Club play in a grass competition on the Northern Beaches at Curl Curl.

Games are on Saturday during the school term, teams are mixed – boys and girls, and it is suitable for all ages from primary school to high school.

It's raffle time! And first prize is cold hard cash 💰 Cha-ching!

We need all of our families to get involved as the money will go towards our future full-field facility at Narrabeen. All you have to do is download the Bolsta raffle app and follow the instructions on the attached to start selling raffle tickets to friends, neighbours, grandparents etc.

The team that sells the most gets a PIZZA party for the team! So get selling!

Have you thought about PSsA hockey?

Hockey trials for Sydney North PSSA schools are on Friday, March 10, from 9-2.30 in Wyong.

WHO: Open to girls and boys in Years 5 and 6 attending a public primary school in Sydney North Area (i.e. NSBHA catchment) and have played rep hockey.

HOW: Interested players need to see their Sports Coordinator at their school and ask for a permission slip to attend the trials.

EVENT: Selected players will play in the NSW All Schools Championship in Tamworth from May 30 - June 2.

Registrations are now open for the Warringah Hockey Association Grass Hockey Competition, 2023. To register with Curl Curl - UTS please follow the link below:

Please make sure you choose the correct age group, and make sure you select the Warringah Grass Competition.

DATES: Season 2023 starts on Saturday April 1st with a Gala Day.

UNIFORMS: Consist of the Curl Curl - UTS shirt, and teal socks. Players are asked to wear navy blue shorts or skirts depending on preference.

TRAINING: Training days will be aThursday afternoon at Frank Grey Oval 4-5pm unless otherwise advised by coaches. Training with Curl Curl will start Thursday March 16th.

PRESEASON TRAINING: For those interested in Preseason Training with Warringah Hockey on our mini synthetic field at the Narrabeen Academy of Sport, training is on Saturday and Sunday's for the next few weeks:

Saturdays

9:00-10:00 u9 Minkey Academy
10:00-11:00 u9 Minkey Preseason (Train and Play)
11:00-12:00 u13 Preseason (Train and Play)
12:00-13:00 13+ Preseason (Train and Play)

Sundays

11:00-12:00 13+ Preseason (Train and Play)
12:00-13:00 Minkey Academy
13:00-14:00 Minkey Preseason u9 (Train and Play)
14:00-15:00 u13 Preseason (Train and Play)

There are come and try sessions running in conjunction with the above sessions, if you have any friends, siblings, neighbours, teammates from other sports who you think may like to try hockey, please encourage them to come along to the relevant age group session.
Cost: Free

Kits will be available for purchase for $50. They include a stick, ball, ball bag, shin pads and a mouth guard. Please bring long socks!
