On Saturday, 27 People took to the course to play the McWhirter & Leong Blind Combined Stableford.

We had 2 young fellas complete their 3rd & final Cards, congratulations Reece & Liam McDonald, who are now ready to roll with their GA Handicaps from this weekend. 💪

To the weekend's results, with 44 Points and no handicap left for the rest of the year, was Cooper George, narrowly pipping Sean Conlan, who came in with 43 points, also reducing his handicap by a few shots.

To the combined, which saw Cooper George paired with Richard Langley to win on a countback with 73 Points. Runners Up were Sean Conlan & Simon Howe. At the back end of the field were Jen McCaffery & Anthony Howe.

UPDATE: owner has been found.

One of our members found this 56 Degree Callaway Paradym club on #7 Green Last Sunday morning following our Opening Day.

No one accessed the course between Saturday and the club being located so we are fairly confident that it would be someone who played on the Opening Day.

If this is your club send us a message and we will organise its return to you. 😊

Golfing continues this weekend at the Cuballing Golf Club with our Blind Combined Stableford sponsored by McWhirter & Leong.

This week is our first full run of our new MiClub system. Please be there by 11.45am to have names in by 12.10pm for a 12.30pm hit off.

If you wish to use phone scoring and need a hand setting up Cooper will be at the club from 10.30am to help you get up and running.

Season 2026 kicked off at the Cuballing Golf Club on Saturday, 2nd of May, with 13 Holes of 3 Person Ambrose from the Red Tees, sponsored by Ray and the team RJ Smith Engineering!

A strong field of 34 players took to the course to dust the cobwebs off. Great to see some new faces on the course, some young, younger and some older. Welcome to the club, and we hope to see you continue your golfing adventure with Cuby.

The first shot of the season was hit by none other than the 2025 Cuballing Cup winner, Dan Hawes. This was possibly his best shot of the day.

Winners on the day after a spin on the ever ominous wheel to determine handicaps were Todd & Rex Hayes, with Ryan Harris to finish with a score of 52 + 1 for a 53. Runners Up on a 3-way countback with 50 + 6 for a 56 were Nigel Parks, Deb Clark & Mike Clark. Gross winners were the Kings of Summer, Pete George, Bernie Maley & Steve Conway coming in with 47 off the bat. NAGA award went to Lindsay George & Dan Hawes, who had a 48 off the stick but with a spin of 28 for a 76 Total, putting them well out of the race.

Thanks to Howie for not only cooking the BBQ but also organising Afternoon Tea after we finished play!

Welcome back for season 2026!

We have already held our clean-up busy bee, and with the amount of work being completed and still being done around the course, it is looking better than ever.

The season fixtures are now out and are available to view on our website, or at the link in the comments. We will have hard copies at the club. This year, the season kicks off on Saturday, May 2nd, with our 3 Person 13 Hole Ambrose sponsored by RJ Smith Engineering.

This season, we will be introducing a new process for registering & entering scores with the addition of our MiClub System. We will run through this on the Opening Day.

We have a big year ahead with some notable dates on the Fixture below:

On Saturday 11th of October, we held our official closing day and AGM for the 2025 Season. We had a field of 30 people on the course for 13 holes of 3 Person Ambrose from the red tees.

Winners of the 3-person Ambrose were Jenny & Wayne McLiesh & Ryan Harris, with Runners Up Terry & Debbie Clark & Pete George. Gross winners Steve Conway, Mike Clark & Nigel Parks. Best at the other end was the Howes with young Edward Keeling.

Finally, we held our AGM, which saw a new Committee Elected. Firstly, thank you to Rob Harris, who has stepped down as Treasurer, having held the role for 5 years. Also, to Bevan George, who has been a committee member for several years. Our incoming committee is as follows:

Whilst the season has finished a Cuby we are going to be having a hit this Saturday for anyone who is keen, normal time, with acting Captain, (emphasis on the acting) Howe running the show.
