The 2026 Winter Season officially kicks off this weekend, but a couple weeks ago we hit the field in the annual Hurley Burley.

Congrats to Hurlstone Park on taking out the ‘Muddy’ Charity Shield this year Over 450+ players aged 8 to 75 got out there, which says everything about what this day is about.

Massive thank you to all the players, spectators, coaches, managers and fans for your generosity and support. And a big thanks again to Hurlstone Park for hosting great football, good tunes, quality food, and an unreal vibe all day.

We’re still pushing closer towards our $10K target, please help us get there!

The Hurley Burley Charity Cup is back in 26.

TOMORROW, on Sunday 29 March at Ewen Park, Hurlstone Park will host the 6th Hurley Burley Charity Day , now one of the biggest grassroots charity events in Sydney’s Inner West.

What started as a one off charity match has grown into a huge community day, with over 450+ players expected and more than $70,000+ raised so far for three incredible causes: Heartbeat of Football, St Vincent’s Hospital and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.

What to expect:
• Full day of fun footy across all grades
• BBQ
• Prizes and raffles
• Free heart health checks
• Big crowd and great community atmosphere
