Kids social tennis now running at Croydon Tennis Club on Friday evenings 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

Perfect for kids who can serve and rally but want a bit of practice before a match. Come and have fun in a low pressure environment.

On Sunday Feb 23rd we're running a BBQ fundraiser at Bunnings Croydon to help pay for our court resurfacing. If you're in the area come and grab a tasty snag!

A big thank you to Community Bank Ringwood East and Croydon for donating $1000 towards our court upgrade! Member Jarrod Carland attending the Community Bank AGM last week and accepted the grant on the club's behalf. Thanks Jarrod! The community bank donate up to 80% of their profits back to our local community - how good is that!

The court upgrade has started this week - with the removal of the existing surface. We are working with the team from Grassports Australia who are prepping the area carefully and getting ready to lay new 14mm Euroclay. We hope to have this ready to go mid-December ready for a great Summer of tennis!

This project wouldn't be possible without the support of Maroondah City Council that approved a capital grant application for the tennis club chipping in half the cost. We look forward to welcoming new and existing members down to try out the new courts very soon!

Yesterday we kicked off our first week of Club Championships and what a fantastic day we had! Our Open Day & BBQ was also a great hit - with lots of kids coming to try out tennis on the mini nets!

Perfect playing conditions today at Croydon Tennis Club after our courts were groomed this week by senior coach Grant Kendell, using the club’s new second-hand quad bike groomer. Looks like he was having a lot of fun using it as well. Nice work Grant 👏
