Our coaching panel is very much focused on the development of our young emerging talent and our team selections ensure they have every opportunity to test their progress.

Morning Cockies!

Very excited to bring you something new from Cockies HQ!

To all Cockies out there, which current Croydon CC player has played with all four of these cricketers, current Cockies Jake Simpson and Nick Bell, and former Cockies, Ross Dancey and Rob Delaney?

While we acknowledge that this could be multiple Cockies, we have a particular one in mind, and will be sure to let you all know who it is once it is guessed correctly!

Morning Cockies!

We are very pleased to welcome Thinuk Maduwa Guruge back to Croydon CC for season 2026/27!

After a couple of seasons at Frankston Peninsula, where he played Dowling Shield last season, and Balwyn, Thinuk is now back at the Cockies!

Thinuk had a solid 2025/26 season, where he made 642 runs and took 26 wickets with his handy off spin.

Thinuk will be playing for Croydon CC when he is not representing his school and hopefully this season, his next hundred is for Croydon, not against us!

Great to have you back Thinuk and we wish you the best for the new season with Croydon CC!

Morning Cockies!

Back with our final Cardigan Cellars Bottlemart Cockies XII in this series, and we are finishing off with a good one! Will Pleming joins us to name his Follically Challenged Croydon CC side!

When asked on his selections, Plem stated "Whist trying to select players in their prime, I was forced to select some up and coming talent who will be looking to join the XII in the coming years. So to get some games under their belt, I have got them in! End of season trip, the boys are off to Turkey for some sightseeing!"

We are very pleased to bring you our National Freight Management JG Craig Sheild Squad for the 2026/27 season!

Congratulations to all players selected, we are very sure that you will do the Croydon Cricket Club very proud!

There will be more details around the competition when we get closer to the date, but the lads will take the field during early January!

Back once again with some more Junior coaching announcements for the new season!

Max Bradley will be coaching our U15As while Jackosn Kneebone will serve as his assistant. Josh McMeeken will take over our U15Bs and have Aaron Fenton as his assistant!

Very pleased to bring you some of our Junior coaches for the upcoming season!

Jake Simpson will head up our U17A's with Mitch Walliker as his assistant, while new signing Praneel Choughule will be the main coach for our U17B's and David Carvill will be his assistant!

Back once again with a Cardigan Cellars Bottlemart Cockies XII, and this time, we have Jake Simpson giving it a go!

Simmo has named us a fast bowlers side, and there is plenty of talent, aggression and speed throughout the selected team!

There is always going to be players who are really stiff to miss out, but heres how Simmo saw his selected XII!

Tom McQuinn - Always reliable, watching him take 9 was incredible!

Ross Dancey - Cosistent, great stories as well!

Tom Scriven - As good as it gets at the level, and good at pokies too!

Jake Simpson - Selection was a given (Cockies HQ words, not Simmos!)

Elliot Samuel - Consistent and had a bit of dog in him

Diego Girola - Great kid and bowler

Hamish Paterson - Spud always finds a way

Riley Paterson - Has a similar action to me, and can turn it up!

Tahj Kensley - Played half a season but his teeth are still a part of Croydon Park

Chirs Brown - Fiery, competitive beast

Jackson Kneebone - Smooth mover

Will Pleming - Under bowled!
