Morning Cockies! We’ve got another exciting signing to announce for the upcoming season! 🏏

Croydon Cricket Club is thrilled to welcome Vish Bansal to the club.

Vish joins us after playing more than 80 Premier Cricket games across First XI and Second XI level with Frankston Peninsula Cricket Club and more recently Dandenong Cricket Club.

A destructive left-handed batter, Vish is renowned for his attacking style of play, taking the game on and scoring freely all around the ground. Having registered Premier Cricket centuries in both First XI and Second XI competition, he brings proven quality and experience to our batting line-up.

One of Vish’s standout performances came against Fitzroy Doncaster in the First XI, where he blasted a superb 137 from just 108 balls, smashing 10 fours and 9 sixes in a breathtaking innings that showcased his ability to change a game in a matter of overs.

Along with his batting prowess, Vish also offers handy off-spin, adding another valuable option to the side.

We’re excited to welcome Vish to the Cockies and look forward to seeing plenty more boundaries, big scores and match-winning performances in Croydon colours.

Morning Cockies!

We are all very pleased to announce that Micky Ashton will be back at the Cockies once again in season 2026/27!

Micky enjoyed his first full season in charge of the 2's, posting over 400 runs and guiding the 2nd XI to a finals birth!

Morning Cockies!

Awesome news in announcing Jimmy Lusk will be back with the Cockies for season 2026/27!

Jimbags split his time between captaining our 3rd XI and bowling consistently in our 2nd XI. His season at the Cockies eventuated into a very tidy year, claiming 25 wickets across both XI's!

Great to have you back Bags of Jim and cannot wait to see more wickets this season!

Happy Saturday Cockies!

And an excellent way to start your weekend would be catching up on the news that Will Pleming will be back again in season 2026/27!

Plem started the season on fire, making a 100 in Round 1 in the 2s! With more consistent performances, he made his return to our 1st XI during the year too!

Great to have you back Plem and maybe, just maybe, you'll get a bowl this season too!

Moring Cockies!

Very pleased to announce that Lean Risdon will be back for the Cockies once again in season 2026/27!

Leaon enjoyed a huge season behind the stumps for the 2nd XI this season, finishing with 28 dismissals after the finals. A huge achievement from the Pom!

Happy to announce that Cam Godwin will be back again at the Cockies for season 2026/27!

Godders aka Greg aka Fish aka Big Party Fish Greg was once again an important part of our 2nd XI and their march to the finals, claiming 23 wickets at a tidy 24.43 a piece!

Cockie HQ is extremely happy to announce that Krishan Sharma will be back again for season 2026/27!

Krish made an immediate impact at the Cockies, scoring runs for fun in our 2s, which eventually demanded a debut in our 1st XI. Unfortunately, injury cut Krish's season short, but we can only hope he comes back with more runs to make!

Super excited about this one! Aaron Fenton has signed on again for season 2026/27!

Fenno was instrumental in getting our 1st XI off to hot starts on most occasions last season, consistently taking it up to the opposition attacks from ball one!
