CROOKWELL ALL AGE WOMEN REACH THE TOP OF THE TABLE π΄βͺοΈ
A massive result for the The Criterion Hotel Crookwell All Age Women, a with a 2β1 victory over Goulburn Foxes at Lin Cooper Fields.
The win moves Crookwell to the top of the All Age Women ladder, sitting on 30 points after 12 matches and carrying strong form into the final stages of the regular season.

Foxes opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Kayleigh Rocca before Crookwell responded quickly.
Ashley Armstrong brought Crookwell level in the 19th minute before Charlie Cramp struck just six minutes later to give Crookwell a 2β1 advantage.
Neither side was able to add to the score in the second half, with Crookwell holding firm to secure all three points in an important top-of-the-table contest.

Last weekend, the Crookwell All Age Women β The Griffettes β proudly sponsored by The Criterion Hotel Crookwell, faced Goulburn Foxes in a huge top-of-the-table clash.
The previous two encounters between the sides had gone the way of the Foxes, but this was the first time the two teams had met at our home ground this season. Coming into the match in strong recent form, the Griffettes walked onto the pitch full of confidence.
Foxes started the game where they left off in the previous encounter, finding the back of the net through a well-placed finish from their dangerous striker Kayleigh Rocca.
That goal sparked the Griffettes into gear and it wasnβt long before the girls were back on level terms. An impressive counterattack, some silky passing and a composed finish from Ashley Armstrong brought the score to 1β1.
The girls werenβt finished there, with Charlie Cramp finding the back of the net soon after to send the Griffettes into halftime with a 2β1 advantage.
After the break, the home side came out firing and produced several opportunities to extend the lead, but the Foxes goalkeeper was up to the task.
The game then developed into a genuine arm wrestle. Late in the match, Foxes created several dangerous opportunities as they searched for an equaliser, but Crookwell goalkeeper and Chick of the Match Jamie Armstrong proved a force to be reckoned with, producing crucial saves and helping the girls see out the result.
The Griffettes came away with a well-earned 2β1 win, moving to the top of the ladder and, just as importantly, continuing their strong run of form heading towards finals in September.

TOUGH DAY AT HOME FOR THE PREMIER LEAGUE π΄βͺοΈ
Crookwell Services Club Premier League Men, returned to Lin Cooper Fields last weekend to take on Goulburn Stags.
It proved to be a difficult afternoon for Crookwell, with a strong Stags side taking control of the contest and coming away with a 5β0 victory.
Crookwell continued to battle throughout the match but couldnβt find the breakthrough needed to get themselves back into the contest, while Stags made the most of their opportunities at the other end.
Not the result the boys were looking for, but attention now turns to the remaining games of the Premier League campaign as the lads look to bounce back and finish the season strongly.
