Hormones are real…. BUT before you go down a DR chatGBT rabbit hole
Rule out the basics first.
Do you actually know how much food your body needs?
Are you training two to three times a week, consistently? Not just showing up to classes.
Could you tell me what’s actually in the meal you just ate?
Training and protein build and hold muscle. Muscle controls your body composition.
Walking and classes don’t do that. They’re movement, not muscle.
“Eating healthy” doesn’t control fat loss either. Calories do. Most women who say this have never actually tracked a single day to check.
Alcohol is its own conversation. But it’s not helping anyone’s fat loss.
Tracking your food for two weeks gives you the answer faster than any blood test will. It’s not restriction. It’s a budget. You can’t fix a budget you’ve never looked at.
Rule out the basics before you chase the complicated answer.😎

We copy our parents more than we ever realise.
I value my health because my mum valued hers above everything else. Even when we almost lost everything, she never cancelled her gym membership. She knew it was her sanity.
We have watched close family members lose their life because they didn't value theirs.
I always admired my parents' relationship. They never asked permission to do anything. They just did what made them happy. I don't remember my mum ever once asking my dad for money. They both worked. They both knew the budget. There was no permission. There was just two best friends who loved each other.
They have been through hell. And resilience, strength, caring, that has just always been my mum.
You don't realise the impact you have on your kids until you sit with this question.
Do you want them growing up watching you ask permission to do things for yourself. Watching you put your own health last because it never made the list.
I have seen the impact on both sides. The version where health gets treated as optional, and the version where it doesn't.
What story do you want your kids to have?
You can change that story if you want to. But it's yours to change.

It’s 8pm on a Tuesday and you’ve barely had dinner.
You open the fridge and think, just one.
The whole packet’s gone and now you’re beating yourself up for not having “willpower.”
That was never about willpower.
It’s about your environment not reflecting your goals.
When you’ve spent all day thinking for everyone else, there’s nothing left for you.
This was never about you being lazy, its about how to set yourself up for Tuesday night with nothing in the tank.

After 35, you lose muscle automatically if you’re not training & eating for it!
And muscle gives your body somewhere to store the carbs you eat. The more you have, the more you can store without it turning into fat…
Lose the muscle, and you lose the ability to store Same food… More fat stored☠️
A calorie deficit gets you into fat loss. It doesn’t choose where that fat comes off.
You can build, and you’re building a better metabolism too. That’s the part nobody’s telling you to focus on, more muscle, Less belly fat…

You will pay a price either way.
That’s the part nobody tells you when you’re stuck choosing between staying comfortable and actually changing something.
Would you rather look back and regret the decision you made because you were scared. Or regret that you never backed yourself enough to try.
There’s always a cost.
For me it was saying goodbye to late nights and early mornings and swapping them for a completely different kind of morning. Investing everything we had into an idea before it had even played out.
But nothing scared me more than staying the same. Wondering if I could have done it, if only I’d been brave enough.
So ask yourself what your comfort is actually costing you.
Your health. Your energy. The version of you that’s waiting on the other side of a decision you keep putting off.
Maybe that’s the real reason you’re stuck.
