MICFIT RETREAT // DAY 4

Camera moments 📸

The fourth day of the MicFit Retreat was met with the same high energy and good vibes from our incredible women. Starting off the day with a full-body workout back at and refuelling with breakfast at our villas.

With plenty of movement in our workouts during our morning and afternoon sessions, our days were spent relaxing - with free time to do what you wanted. That meant exploring Uluwatu, shopping at the markets, massages at .bali or a day of rest and recovery at .

We headed back to .fondue for another full body Reformer Pilates workout, and finished off our night with fresh seafood, sushi and conversation at .fishmarket .

Grateful for every day spent in beautiful Bali with our amazing women - feeding our bodies with good movement, great food and even better company.

MICFIT RETREAT // DAY 2

The second day of our MicFit retreat was full of great training, epic food and moments of relaxation. Kicking off the day with a private session at was the perfect way to get the body moving. Every great session needs a post-fuel workout, and what better way to feed the body then back at our incredible villa stay .

To recover the body and enjoy some downtime together we headed to the wonderful and peaceful for a late morning filled with saunas, swimming and sitting down with each other. The afternoon was ours to enjoy, so we kept with the relaxation theme with a massage from .bali .

Heading into the afternoon we had our second round of Mat Pilates, this time our pilates session was more grounded and at a slower pace - moving the body with intention and stretching.

We wrapped up our second day with a Mediterranean-inspired dinner at .bali . Our dinners together were the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day, to come together, to laugh and to mingle over great food amongst great women.

Sutherland to surf with the girls ✅✅

I was slightly scarred from my half marathon just over a year ago, but have definitely just enjoyed running shorter distances the last few months!

Such a good community event 🙏. If you have ever thought about running it or even just walking definitely put it on your bucket list.

The most common answer for women is ‘I think so’ yet when you dive a little deeper you discover that the answer is probably NO.

Yes we are a health conscious society, and it’s great to eat good food but are we still seeing food as the enemy instead of an important factor in so many aspects.

The benefits of eating MORE food:

SUPPORT AROUND YOUR GOALS IS EVERYTHING 💪🏽

I am all for setting a goal, and having enough will power to complete it yourself, but it makes it a hell of a lot easier if you have good people around you.

- Trying to losing weight with a partner who is not on board is really hard.
- Training for an event with no training buddy is also really hard.
- Having friends that don’t push you towards this goal makes it a hell of a lot harder.

Most things that we achieve in life are done due to the support of those around us.

For example my 4 x 48 challenge would not have been completed without the support of these champions! They were my driving force when getting out of bed, taking another shower or having my own doubts. The next group, would be there to back me up & support me on these huge event.

Think about this the next time you fall short of your goal. Who do I have around me that inspires me & is my ‘hype human’ for something that is really important to you.

Understand your circle & only have good people in it!! You will go a hell of a lot further in life.

POSITIVE SELF TALK WILL CHANGE YOU ❤️

Each day you go about your day & don’t think it counts but then you look back & realise just how far you have come.

I used to overtrain, under eat, binge, conform to everyone else’s expectations and do it for everyone else - I thought I had to fit into a box 📦

But this 👆👆 was achieved by waking up everyday a little bit happier, with a performance goal in mind, understanding my body more & showing up everyday.
