Trial bookings are now OPEN for term 3 - WAITLIST ONLY!

Let's be honest - as a new mum, the last thing you want to hear is that you need to "bounce back" to your pre baby body.
And walking into a standard gym could feel very uncomfortable for many new mums - feeling like they are not only in a completely new stage of life, but a new body too.

Mighty Mums is different. We run outdoor group exercise classes for mums in Cronulla - and above everything, is our focus on your mental health.
Not your body shape. Not your fitness levels. Not how much you're able to take part with a bub in your arms!

If you rock up sleep deprived, emotional or with an unsettled baby, you are welcome here!

Did you know that research shows exercise can reduce the risk and severity of postpartum depression by up to 45%?

This is what I want as many new mums as possible to feel comfortable turning up to a Mighty Mums class.

If you've had a difficult morning and you want to move through the session at just 30% effort - that is more than ok. I want you here for your mental health - for the connection with other mums, for the laughs, for the post-class coffee and chats, for the friendships.

Because motherhood can feel lonely. And an hour by the beach with your baby, moving your body, feeling comfortable and being surrounded by supportive women -can work wonders in terms of how you feel. 💜

“I have no self-control!”

I hear this from client/ friends about trying to break “bad” habits or build new healthy habits in to their routine.

But here’s the thing.

When you understand how to use the habit loop, you are far more likely to succeed 🔂

Changing habits has a science to it - it’s not as much about will power as we might think.

The habit loop is made up of:

- the cue or trigger - eg the time of day, a feeling, an environment
- the action - eg scrolling social media, drinking alcohol, snoozing your alarm
- the reward - eg dopamine hit, more time in bed.

When simply remove the action without replacing it with anything - we experience a craving. Which leaves us feeling like we have no control or will power. Sound familiar!?

But when we replace that action with something else that leads to the same outcome, we are far more likely to be successful.
