Another BIG weekend @ State Cup for our Strikers!

U13 defeated Western Condors 3-1
U14 defeated Sporting Rovers 4-3 (on penalties)
WU15 defeated Easts 6-3 (on penalties)
WU18 defeated Kissing Point/Turramurra 3-2
U18 defeated Lane Cove West 2-1

Our WU14 unfortunately went down to BTH... A hard-fought game! Well done girls, a solid effort to get through this far!
Our WU16 lost 0-1, a tough call taking the game from the girls! An amazing effort all round!

Today we join the entire Northern Beaches football community in congratulating Keith Pester on being awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his outstanding service to our game.
Keith’s contribution over more than four decades — including 25+ years with the MWFA — has shaped the pathways, competitions, and community spirit that thousands of players, coaches, referees, and volunteers enjoy today.
His leadership across roles such as MWFA Vice President, Judiciary Officer, and long‑time board member has left a legacy that will be felt for generations.
From grassroots fields to representative programs, Keith’s influence has strengthened football across the region, and we are proud to acknowledge his remarkable dedication.
