BAREFOOT BOWLS – ANOTHER GREAT NIGHT AT CRESSY BOWLS & COMMUNITY CLUB

What a fantastic evening on the green with our barefoot bowlers. The atmosphere was buzzing, the banter was flowing, and the competition was as friendly as ever.

🏆 Winners of the Night

Rolling Thunders — Lucas, Courtney & Corey — took out the overall win with a great performance.

🎉 Meat Tray Winners

• Karlie from the Burlington Berries team was absolutely over the moon to win the Players Meat Tray.
• Karen from the MoonTribe team claimed the Meat Tray Raffle prize.

A huge thank‑you to JBS Longford for supplying the burgers and sausages, and to our local IGA Cressy for the bread — your support keeps these nights thriving.

🎯 Friday Night This Week at Cressy Bowls Club

Please note being the long week the big monthly meat draw will be held on the Friday 13th March but plenty of action for this Friday.

The Joker Jackpot resets to $550 — and it’s anyone’s game!

Buy a drink between 4.30pm and 6.30pm to enter the draw.
You could win vouchers from Tas Mulch, HST Tree Services, Classic Landscapes, plus a club top and bubbles.
The Members Draw climbs to $350 with meat tray raffles, snacks, and the bar opens at 4pm.
It’s all happening this Friday — good prizes, great company, and a night full of fun before the long weekend.

BAREFOOT BOWLS – OUR COMMUNITY ON THE GREEN AGAIN THIS THURSDAY

Another fantastic evening at the Cressy Bowls & Community Club, with our community coming together for Week 3 of our 6‑week Barefoot Bowls competition. The greens were full of laughter, friendly rivalry, and a few very determined bowlers chasing those weekly prizes.

🏆 Winners This Week

• TTMi–Longford took out the win and scored themselves free drinks.

• Emily continued her hot streak, taking home another meat tray.

• Our much‑loved local and social member Graeme Preece also walked away with a meat tray win — well deserved!

🌱 Growing Our Bowls Family

We’ve been lucky enough to welcome a few new players to the game over the past couple of weeks. It’s been great seeing fresh faces giving bowls a go — and who knows, they might just get hooked like the rest of us.

A big thank‑you to everyone who came along and made it another brilliant night of community spirit.

A big congratulations to our regular social member Simone, who scooped the Joker Jackpot last week! With the excitement reset, this Friday’s pool starts fresh at $500.

CRESSY BOWLS & COMMUNITY CLUB-Barefoot Bowls

What an awesome evening on the greens.

Plenty of our Hi‑Vis crew came straight from work, ready for a cold refreshment, a BBQ feed, and a few ends of barefoot bowls.

The wind dropped right on cue, giving us the perfect backdrop for laughter, banter, and a few surprisingly serious competitors. Who knows — we might have a few future members in the making.

BAREFOOT BOWLS – THIS THURSDAY NIGHT AT CRESSY BOWLS & COMMUNITY CLUB

A chilly evening didn’t stop our community — 48 barefoot bowlers turned up for another fantastic night on the green. The sun was still shining, the refreshments were flowing, and everyone enjoyed a snag or burger fresh off the BBQ.
