Sundays in the RoundYard. Some Sundays are spent in the saddle, while others are about investing in the future of our horse community. This morning I said yes to a new committee role, helping a local equestrian club as Events Co-ordinator and O,H &S Officer. A small way of giving back. Community spaces like this rely on volunteers, and I'm grateful to lend a hand. I've also put my hand up for a fundraising barbecue, because keeping places where horse people can ride, learn, and connect is worth it. The weather had other ideas for today. So instead of working in the RoundYard, the horses enjoyed a quiet day, letting the rain come and go. Behind the scenes, Roundyard Saddlery is taking steady little steps. Some weeks that's products, some weeks it's people. This week it's people, connections, and new opportunities. As I sit with the rain, I'm reminded not every week goes to plan, but there's always something to be grateful for. What have you been up to this week with our unpredictable weather? Did you manage to get out with your horses or did Mother Nature have other plans?

A rather late Sunday in the Round Yard... on Tuesday 🀎🐴
Sometimes life around the Round Yard doesn't quite run to schedule.
Sunday came and went before I knew it, and our usual little Sunday catch-up didn't make it to the page.
So, apologies for being a couple of days late... but horses, work and life occasionally have their own ideas about the timetable. πŸ˜‰
We're still here, there's plenty happening behind the scenes, and Sunday in the Round Yard will be back where it belongs this weekend.
Until then, consider this our slightly late wave over the fence. πŸ‘‹πŸ΄πŸ€Ž

Sunday in the Round Yard
Yesterday, Roundyard Saddlery headed along to the Wingham Pony Club Pony Club Sale.
It was a day of conversations, ideas, feedback and a little reminder that sometimes the most unexpected things get people talking.
Like this T-shirt.
So today we're introducing something new...
The WTF Collection
First up: Where's The Feed?
Inspired by three very real, very cheeky boys who clearly believe meals should never be late.

SUNDAY IN THE ROUNDYARD
Some Sundays don't go to plan.
Today I had hoped to spend some time in the round yard with Popcorn. Instead, the day became about the jobs that keep everything else possible.
Water troughs were checked and refilled. Fences were repaired. Electric tape was restrung. The paddocks are a little safer, and everyone is happily grazing where they belong.
Sometimes horsemanship isn't about riding.
Sometimes it's about doing the quiet jobs that your horses rely on every single day.
Here's to a new week, healthy horses, and hopefully some time in the round yard with Popcorn very soon.
What was your favourite moment with your horse this weekend? 🐴

There is just something about horses 🐎 ❀️🐎

This morning, he didn't walk over to me.
He simply stood in the morning light and watched.
We shared a quiet moment from a distance.
No words. No expectations. No need to fill the silence.
It reminded me that not every connection needs to be close enough to touch.
Sometimes peace is simply knowing you're seen.
Sometimes healing begins in the quiet spaces, where nothing is asked of us except to be present.
This morning, I was reminded that slowing down isn't falling behind.
Sometimes it's exactly where we find ourselves again.
🀍 You can lose almost everything... and still find yourself again.
πŸ‘‘ Take a deep breath... straighten your crown... and keep walking.
