I’m a self confessed bike nerd. For as long as I can remember I’ve loved bikes, riding bikes, fixing bikes, dreaming of my next bike.
First MTB: 97 Giant ATX 860,
Favourite bit of bike nerd tech: Specialized Enduro bearing service kit, I have many tools for removing stubborn "blind" bearings- but when nothing else works this will.
Currently dreaming of: A short travel alloy trail build- maybe a stumpy or a trance x, or a sentinel.

Jumping is fun- learning to get a bike off and back on the ground completely changes how you ride a bike- all of sudden you can break free from the smooth line- and play with the direct line! Improving your jumping skills brings a whole other dimension to MTB.

MY FAVS-
My favourite trail at Meehan right now: DH track, coming out of winter its firm, fast, with just enough mixed grip to make it interesting!
Favourite coaching moment: the moment when someone feels how much easier it is to get a bike off the ground if they push it into the ground first.
Looking forward to: Riding the refurbished 23 stitches- the go jump trail and part of my favourite lap in derby! (Black Stump>Shearpin>23 stiches).
