🏇🏻THE NEW SEASON HAS STARTED - AND WE'RE OFF TO THE RACES

The opening Month of the 2026/27 season has provided plenty of encouragement for everyone at Gavin Bedggood Racing.

Our horses have been competing strongly across both metropolitan and provincial racing, with a number of exciting young horses continuing to progress through the stable.

But while we're proud of the results, it's the "quality and depth within the stable" that has us particularly excited about what lies ahead.

Behind the scenes, we're already looking towards the next group of runners - and there are "a number of ownership opportunities becoming available."

The stables first quinella at Stakes level, between two of the stables favourites! Just Folk was brave in defeat as Kingswood took the upper hand in the closing stages. Congratulations to all of our connections and a great Ride by John Allen. To all our team back home for the dedication and hard work it’s been a fantastic start to our season, as we look forward to spring.

Massive thrill to Quinella the Listed Heatherlie stakes Melbourne Racing Club for the 2nd time yesterday with Kingswood proving too strong for a very gallant Just folk in 2nd placing.

Big shout out to both groups of owners for their continued support to our stable
Just as important our team of staff at home behind the scenes who have done a great job to have these horses race at their optimum either 1st up or deep into a campaign
