AFL Victoria are seeking Expressions of Interest from individuals to become a member of the AFL South East Region Council.

The purpose of the Region Council is to provide constructive guidance and recommendations to AFL Victoria using skills, knowledge and expertise, from a broad collection of backgrounds, on a range of strategic and demographical issues relevant to game development within the AFL SOUTH EAST Region.

Applicants completing an Expression of Interest Nomination Application and outlining their skills and expertise, addressing the qualifications and selection criteria detailed in the Region Council Member Position Description, close 5.00pm Friday May 1st, 2026.

Working with the Region Manager, local Leagues and Umpires and AFL Victoria, the Region Council will support the growth of the game in the AFL South East Region playing a vital role in identifying opportunities to ensure the game thrives.

AFL South East is seeking a Senior Umpire Fitness Coach to help prepare and support senior umpires across multiple disciplines and age brackets.

This role will provide direction and coaching to ensure umpires are physically prepared to perform at their best on game day. The position involves regular attendance at senior umpire training sessions, with opportunities to assist in additional initiatives that support umpire recruitment and development.

The role is paid as an honorarium and reports to the Senior Football & Umpiring Manager.
