🥧 Pie Auction Success! 🥧

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved in our Pie Auction fundraiser in support of Monash Children’s Hospital.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our members, families, players, coaches and supporters, we raised an amazing $2,325 in bids!

Our highest bidders earned the right to pie their chosen recipient in the face, and here are the lucky winners:

🥧 Kym, our Division One Team Manager, will be pie-ing Head Coach JR

Join us this Saturday following the Division One game to watch all the pie-ing action unfold. It’s sure to be a lot of fun for a great cause!

50 Games for Sarah “Ace” Ventura 🏆⚡

“Alrighty then!” What a milestone for one of Casey Thunder’s most exciting players.

Today we celebrate Sarah “Ace” Ventura reaching 50 games in the Thunder colours.

In a remarkably short time, Ace has achieved so much. An incredibly gifted athlete who is still developing her craft, she has the rare ability to impact a game from virtually any attacking position. Whether she’s creating opportunities, applying pressure, or hitting the scoreboard, she consistently makes her presence felt.

Since making her debut, Ace has kicked 31 goals and earned recognition as the 2025 Division 1 Runner-Up Best & Fairest, a reflection of both her talent and consistency.

Beyond her football ability, Ace is an absolute pleasure to coach. She leads through her actions, inspires those around her, and continually motivates her teammates to be better. It is no surprise that she is a valued member of our Leadership Group.

Ace is a very talented footballer, but more importantly, she is an even better person. The impact she has on our club extends far beyond game day.

Congratulations on 50 games, Ace. Like your famous namesake, you always seem to find a way to crack the case when the team needs it most. We can’t wait to see what the next 50 games bring!

🥧 WHO WANTS TO PIE THEIR COACH? 🥧

Ever wanted to pie your coach in the face for making you run that extra lap? Or maybe get a little payback on Cappy or Pamo for all those jokes?

Well, now’s your chance!

This Thursday night after training, we’ll be holding a special Pie Auction, with all proceeds going directly to our fundraising efforts for Monash Children’s Hospital.

💰 How it works:
• We’ll run a live auction after team dinner and selection (7:30pm onwards).
• The highest bidder for each person wins the right to pie them in the face.
• All money raised goes straight to Monash Children’s Hospital.

📍 You must be there to bid, so make sure you stick around after training. Family and friends encouraged to join us!

🥧 Pieing duties will take place following the Division 1 game on Saturday.
