It’s easy to feel frustrated or get stuck in a “I’m getting weaker” mindset, but remember: not every training day will be your strongest.

Sleep, stress, nutrition, recovery and life all play a role.

Missing a PB doesn’t mean you’re going backwards. Sometimes it’s simply an OPPORTUNITY to step back, reassess and learn what your body needs right now. And then build the foundation for your next PB. ✨

2025 at BASE27. A year of consistency, structure, and community.

Many of our members came to us after years of unstructured training — random online workouts, cardio-only routines, and gym sessions without a clear plan.

The effort was there, but progress often felt inconsistent and hard to sustain.

What changed wasn’t motivation. It was direction.
When training became structured, progressive, and coached, results followed.

When people trained alongside others with the same values and support, consistency improved.
Throughout 2025, we saw members build strength both physically and mentally, confidence, and belief in themselves by following a clear plan, showing up regularly, and being part of a strong community.

The focus was simple and intentional:
Structured strength and conditioning
Coaching and accountability
A supportive training environment

The result?

Stronger bodies, improved confidence, and members who understand why they train the way they do.
2025 reinforced what BASE27 stands for professional coaching, purposeful training, and a community built to last.

Grateful for the year that was. Ready for what's next.

This is BASE27 Fitness.

It doesn’t matter if you met five minutes ago or you’ve been training together for years.

Every session brings men and women from all walks of life together,encouraged, supported, and empowered to show up as they are.

Shilpa went from 64kg… to 51kg — here’s how 👇

This didn’t come from shortcuts or 1200 calories a day.

She’s a mum.
She works full time.
She had a C-section.
She struggled with rheumatoid arthritis.
She dealt with knee pain and zero confidence.

What changed?

She stopped guessing.
She stopped doing random workouts.
She stopped trying to do it alone.
She’d stopped copying what other people did in the gym.

Instead, she committed to structure, coaching and showing up, even on the days she didn’t feel like it.

Here’s what that looks like now:

• 64kg → 51kg
• Size 10 → size 8/6
• Knee pain → now smashing 50kg squats
• More energy. More discipline. More self-belief.
• And the confidence to inspire other women

I’m so damn proud of the community we’ve built.

No quick fixes.
No shortcuts.
No weird-ass diets.

Just everyday people, doing the simple things consistently.

Managing stress.
Strength training.
Prioritising sleep.
Eating nourishing whole foods.

Because what’s the point of losing weight for 8 weeks… just to put it all back on again?

We don’t do that here.
We lose weight for life.
Build muscle for life.
Live healthy for our future selves.

Jen went from box-squats because of knee pain… to squatting lower AND running her 10km events again — with just 2 PT sessions a week.

When she first joined, she was in pain and terrified she’d have to give up the things she loved. Squatting hurt. Running felt impossible. And she was doing everything she thought she “should” be doing… but nothing was changing.

The real roadblocks looked like this:
🔥 She avoided certain movements because the pain made her nervous
🔥 She genuinely believed running was off the table for the foreseeable future

When we started working together, we rebuilt her foundations from the ground up. We refined her squat mechanics, strengthened the muscles around her knees and hips, and progressed her range safely. Then she reintroduced running with a plan her body could trust, not fear.

And that changed everything.

Now she’s:
✨ Squatting lower, stronger, and completely pain-free
✨ Running her 10km races again with confidence
✨ Feeling fitter, more capable, and more in control than she has in years

So proud of this comeback.
