Amazing to see these young runners so far ahead of the field coming out of the Mannagum Loop and across the finish line - and congratulations to all the other enthusiasts who turned up at Cleland today. 👏

26 participants at Cleland today and a new female course record set at 20:52 by Amelia. Congratulations to everyone's efforts on the eve of the Winter Solstice.

There’s really only one word for Cleland Parkrun #406 - WET 🌧️🌧️🌧️☔️

But that did not stop 39 adventurous runners and walkers with many actually finishing the swim with a smile on their face 😁

Highlights included: Linleys 250 milestone celebration 🥳, Brian’s PB 👏, the marquee not flying away, and the yummy cake to celebrate Kent’s birthday 🎂 (and Bobby’s but she made the wise choice to give it a miss this morning 😊)

Can’t thank our superstar volunteers enough, you rock 🤩💜

23 intrepid parkrunners, 3 children who did most of the course, 6 vollies (including 2 of the aforementioned parkrunners) and innumerable kangaroos disappeared into and emerged from a course that was foggy from start to finish.

Welcome to Ron, Rachel, Kara and Patrick, visiting Cleland for the first time, and to Harpreet and Jasvinder who chose Cleland for their first ever parkrun. And congratulations to Amber on setting a new PB!

Someone found on the track an AirPod (or similar) that we think is for the right ear. Let us know if you lost one. If it isn’t claimed we’ll leave it at the Cleland Wildlife Park front desk next week.
